Grandpa is sitting in the garden chair.
The revenue section is the most important part of the company's financial report.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
如果 A 和 B 都是名词,为什么有时候我们说 A's B,有时候又说 AB 呢?
结构 (1)
A's B
这种结构用于
(1) A 拥有 B 时,例:
my uncle's car (my uncle owns the car / 我的叔叔拥有那辆车)
Sam's toys (Sam has the toys / 山姆拥有那些玩具)
(2) A 对 B 做了什么/ A '做什么' B 时,例:
the company's report (the company wrote the report / 公司写了那份报告)
the manager's decision (the manager made the decision / 经理做了那个决定)
结构 (2)
AB
这个结构里,B 像一个[主语/Subject],而 A 像个[宾语/Object]:
a garden chair (a chair in/for the garden / 放在院子里用的 椅子)
=》The chair is (for use) in the garden.
a school bus (a bus that takes children to/from school / 载小孩往返学校的 巴士车) =》The bus takes children to/from school.
a Japanese woman (a woman that comes from Japan / 来自日本的 女人) =》The woman comes from Japan.
an oil well (a well that produces oil / 抽取石油用的 井) =》The well produces oil. |
