我肯定persons是存在的，我在bbc news看到過。。。

至于childrens和womens我就不懂了。。。

单一的分句会这样表达：'I broke the vase'（我打烂了花瓶）。

我觉得这句也可以写成 “ It  was  I  who  broke  the  vase" , 因为你把它分成两句的时候是这样的：

It  was  I. I  broke  the  vase.

我是从某本语法书看来的。

应该是 Children’s & Women’s.

忘了 apostrophe. 很平常的。

包掛有些 Natives 本身都会 miss 掉的。

语法的演变是进行式，传统的语法是不足够的，
有时正式与非正式的用法的确会产生冲突，但这不是单纯对错的问题，
这种现象是语法演变过程中的现象之一......
去搜索 it is me vs it is I 应该可以找到关于这个问题的，更好的解说。

Exactly. 31# is right.

惯性的东西，可以用 present tense.

如何分辨[不及物动词+介词短语]和[及物动词短语]？

看看这个模棱两可的句子：
They are tearing up the street.

tear = 飞奔（这个定义有道找不到，可找 n词酷）
tear up = 撕裂

这个句子可以有两个含义：
（1）他们在街上飞奔。
（2）他们正在把街道撕裂。（烂翻译/修路工人正在施工......）

辨别测试方法：

（1）小品词（particle）移动测试：
如果可以把小品词(particle/up)移到名词短语(NP/the street)的右边，就可以证实是动词短语的小品词：
They are tearing the street up.
→ tear up 是动词短语

（2）代词化（pronominalization）测试：
用代词(it)取代名词短语(NP/the street)，动词短语的小品词(particle/up)会自动移到代词右边：
They are tearing it up.
→ tear up 是动词短语

相对的，如果是介词+名词短语，则介词位置不变：
They are tearing up it.
这只有一个意思，他们在街上飞奔。
→ tear + up the street，tear up 不是动词短语

（3）介词短语（PP）移动测试：
如果小品词（particle/up）+ 名词短语（NP/the street）是个介词短语（PP），那整个介词短语作为一个完整的成分，可以移到句子前面：
Up the street they tear.
这只有一个意思：在街上，他们飞奔。

这得看情况，如果是一般存在的事实，比如：He told me that it snows in Korea. 虽然他过去告诉我，但韩国下雪是一般的事实，用现在时比较合理，但用过去时也没错，我会选择用 snows。
如果他告诉我说：He told me that he lived with his aunt. 我不清楚他现在的情况，所以我会以他告诉我那件事的那个时候的情况来说。

1. 我会用 say they love...upload (on the site... 那个网站还在)
2. 我会用 asked... did... was (on 15 Oct 2012，过去的一件事)

本地报章不用太纠结他们的语法。
