教会主办的土生华人（福建）文化展“Lai Lau Juak”

虽然是教会主办，一定有传教活动，同时福建人的拜天公等一些重要礼俗一定被过滤掉，但乃不失为一个不错的主题。

"Lai Lau Juak" at fort
A Peranakan-themed celebrtion will be held by the Full Gospel Assembly (FGA) at Fort Cornwallis 旧关直角 in Penang on Aug 7, 5.30PM. Admission if FREE.

Themed "Lai Lau Juak" - A Peranakan  Experience, the event will feature traditional games, cultural dances, musical presentations as well as Baba Nyonya food.

After the opening procession, there will be a "t'ng tok" or long table buffet spread traditionally held for Baba Nyonya weddings.

There will also be hawker stalls selling food and a section for people to join in childhood games such as hopscotch, congkak and batu seremban.

An exhibition on Peranakan culture such as kha kiak (clogs) and manik eh (beaded shoes) will be held.
