For save on the hostel cost, u can try couchsurfing, I just try my first cs, is a very nice experience. For transportation, u can use carpooling or idbus or mayb u want to hitch hike.... a useful web that I do the study on the transpot is rome2rio . U can try it out :) Haven't start helpx so cant share no ... ...
