We refer to the article with the title “PIE on track to achieve RM1.3bil revenue”, published in the online news portal of The Star on 26 September 2022 (referred to as the “the Online Article”). The Board of Directors wishes to confirm that the sales orders received by the Group as at to-date achieved approximately RM1.3 billion contributed by the increase in demand from the sale of supercomputing servers, new digital entertainment devices and household appliances as compared to the previous financial year. The Board of Directors (“Board”) of PIE wishes to announce its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pan-International Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“PIESB”) had on 31 March 2024 secured an overseas manufacturer (the "Manufacturer") specializes in servers and switches. The Plant of PIESB with build up area of 280,000 square feet will be allocated entirely for the manufacturer. Pilot production is scheduled to commence by end of 2024, while mass production is slated to begin in 2025 (the “Transaction”). Please refer to Appendix 1.
