Bandar Putra Kulai, IOI Properties’ pioneering project in Johor, remains a cornerstone township for the group, spanning 2298.6ha with a RM10 billion GDV.
IOI PROPERTIES Group Bhd (IOIPG) celebrates its 30-year anniversary in Johor this year with its “30 Years Together” campaign.
Running from April 1, the campaign offers promotional packages and the chance to win luxury goods, electrical appliances and a holiday package covering up to 30 international destinations with any purchase of its participating projects.
“Since 1995, IOI Properties Group has grown with the people of Johor through our signature developments such as
Bandar Putra Kulai, Taman Lagenda Putra, Taman Kempas Utama and Bandar IOI Segamat, encompassing a diverse range of quality product offerings to foster holistic, self-sustaining townships,” said IOIPG southern region property segment chief operating officer Lim Beng Yeang.
“As we look back on three decades of mutual trust and collaboration, we celebrate all the things that bring us together, and look forward to many more years of partnership and prosperity.
“To commemorate this momentous occasion, we launched our “30 Years Together” campaign to reward our customers with the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime getaway around the world.”
Lim highlights the company’s long-term commitment to Johor, creating thriving townships across the state through strategic planning.

The campaign offers incentives for buyers of participating IOIPG projects in Johor, including: renovation subsidies up to RM30,000, three lucky spin chances, rebates up to 2%, free furniture and electrical appliances and business grants up to RM300,000 for selected commercial units.
Existing IOIPG customers receive an additional rebate of 0.5%, on top of their existing Club IOI loyalty programme rebate entitlements.
Global travel opportunities
Purchasers of selected residential, commercial and industrial (factory units only) properties who had booked a unit during the campaign and completed the sale before June 30 are entitled to participate in monthly lucky draws.
Prizes include luxury goods and electrical appliances. The grand prize, drawn in July, will see one lucky winner walk away with travel packages for two, eligible for up to 30 international destinations*.
“Property and home ownership is often a lifelong journey, and in recognition of the support from our valued customers over the past 30 years, we would like to present them a golden opportunity to experience more of what life has to offer, with a whirlwind adventure across the globe.
“Those looking for a home or investment can speak with our friendly sales consultants to learn more about our expansive portfolio in Johor,” said Lim.
A trusted presence in Johor
IOIPG first ventured into Johor with its flagship development,
IOIPG's Johor story began in 1995 with its flagship Bandar Putra Kulai township—a bold vision at the time, but now a thriving community

and home to more than 70,000 residents.
Bandar Putra Kulai, in 1995, its largest signature township in the state to date.
Spanning 2298.6ha with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM10bil, it was followed by Bandar IOI Segamat in 1996, the first phase comprising 200.3ha and subsequently expanding to 245.6ha.
The group now has about 2049.7ha of remaining landbank in Johor.
“Over time, these developments grew into mature, thriving and self-sustaining townships, thanks to their strategic location, good connectivity and comprehensive master plans.
“In Bandar Putra Kulai, for example, we have completed over 17,000 commercial, residential and industrial factory units to date, with a population of over 70,000,” said Lim.
“In 2006 and 2007, we expanded our southern portfolio with
Taman Lagenda Putra near the Kulai toll plaza, and
Taman Kempas Utama in Johor Baru.
“We also launched
The Platino, a serviced apartment catering for high-rise demand in Johor Baru, in 2012,” he continued.
“Throughout our efforts, we support our townships with a vibrant ecosystem of commercial, recreational and hospitality components.
“These include IOI Mall Kulai and the
IOI Palm Villa Golf and Country Resort
, along with industrial hubs like IOI Industrial Park@Iskandar Malaysia catalysing economic growth and employment.”
