The government has announced a two percent reduction on income tax collection that would benefit the M40 group.

Breaking down the reduced income tax perks, Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz said those earning between RM50,001 to RM70,000 per year will be paying 11 percent in income tax instead of 13 percent.

For those earning RM70,001 to RM100,000 per year, their new income tax rate is 19 percent instead of 21 percent.

KUALA LUMPUR: The personal taxation rate will be reduced by 2% on taxable income ranging from RM50,000 to RM100,000 for domiciled individuals.

In tabling Budget 2023 in Parliament on Friday (Oct 7), Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said for the taxable income range RM50,001 to RM70,000, the rate will be reduced from 13% to 11%.

For the RM70,001 to RM100,000 range, it will go down from 21% to 19%.

Those in the taxable income range of RM250,000-RM400,000 and in the RM400,000-RM600,000 range will be subject to a rate of 25%.

Tengku Zafrul noted that this would allow tax savings of up to RM1,000 for the middle income group, and RM250 for the high income group.

根據你自己提供的圖表，

Those in the taxable income range of RM250,000-RM400,000 and in the RM400,000-RM600,000 range will be subject to a rate of 25%.

250,001 - 400,000 原本是24.5 %, 現在被提高成25%
400,001 - 600,000 原本是25，現在保持不變25%。

所以是，政府把250,001 - 400,000 這個群組跟400,001 - 600,000 群組合併起來都變成是被抽25%（所以T20裡頭的人，其實將會出現更多的人被抽得更多）。

你一直炫耀自己是T20，T20 起碼都要100,001 - 250,000這個群組以上才能叫做T20。
現在這個所得稅減少只有M40 那群人才會受惠，你說自己是T20，你替自己慶祝歡呼什麼lan？！
