中国人喜欢去砂是正常的事情。
山明水秀,多姿多彩的文化,人民友善得多。

我们沙巴本来也可以和砂一样好,可惜被那些菲匪破坏了

KOTA KINABALU: Chinese tourists have contributed an estimated RM2 billion in tourism receipts to Sabah last year, said the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu, Liang Caide.

He said around 430,000 Chinese tourists had visited Sabah in 2017, with up to 90 direct flights connecting Kota Kinabalu and China each week.

“If each Chinese tourist spends an estimated RM5,000 during their stay here, they would have contributed over RM2 billion in tourism receipts last year.”

Liang said this during a courtesy call on the Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) led by Tan Sri Andrew Liew Sui Fatt here yesterday...

Malaysia is definitely the go-to destination for many tourists who are looking to explore our country’s natural beauty while experiencing a melting pot of cultures and traditions at the same time. Recently, East Malaysia, particularly Sabah, has become more popular due to a multitude of reasons.

According to the South China Morning Post, the state of Sabah was recently listed among the top 10 tourist destinations for 6.5 million Chinese nationals during this year’s festive season.

The state’s tourism minister, Masidi Manjun also stated that Sabah was indeed getting more popular among Chinese tourists, stating that more “cosmopolitan types” have been visiting the state.

“They speak some basic English, they are younger, and they know exactly what they want from the holiday so they just travel on their own without tour groups.” He added that Sabah was likely to gain more tourists during China’s 15-day Spring Festival more than other states in the country, saying, “I like to say we are unique because we are ‘the best Malaysians’. We don’t have any problem with racial harmony, and a lot of the non-Chinese here speak Chinese.” “This gives a lot of confidence to the Chinese tourists because they feel they are at home… we speak the language but we don’t have the crowds or traffic jams and we have the cleanest air in Malaysia.”

Sabah mulls erecting Mandarin signages to woo Chinese tourists
By FARDY BUNGGA - July 23, 2018 @ 5:52pm
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah state government is considering a plan to add Mandarin signages in tourist-frequented areas in an effort to capture more Chinese tourism market.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Jaujan Sambakong said the move would not only encourage tourism activities in the state but also showed the Chinese tourists that they are welcome in the state.

Jaujan, who is also Housing and Local Government Minister, said a committee involving all relevant ministries would be formed to look into the matter.

“Every year, Sabah receives a lot of tourists especially from China.

"This shows there is a need to come up with signages in Mandarin at tourist-frequented places. Of course, there are other aspects that need to be taken into consideration, but I don’t think it will affect our official language.
