1Malaysia GRIP

Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) is closely working with the government towards effective implementation of the 1Malaysia Globally Recognized Industry Professionals (1MalaysiaGRIP) programme.

The primary objective of the programme is to:

- To upskill Malaysians,

- Towards crreting high-income opportunities - national agenda.

- To provide an opportunity for employees (through self-nomination and direct applications) to enhance their skills / expertise in specific fields accelerating their career and tapping higher income potential;

- To help employers empower their workforce in their efforts to increase their capacity and capabilities towards competitive advantages;

- To offer specialized high-level training programmers that cover skills required for knowledge intensive sectors, high-tech and high value-added products and activities etc., which in turn will help increase labor supply in strategic and high impact sectors of the economy. This will also reduce the country's dependency on external expertise.


The programme is also open to:

- non-registered employers of Human Resources Development Fund ( HRDF )

- Registered employers of Human Resources Development Fund ( HRDF )



1MALAYSIA GRIP

- SEGI institutions are approved training providers that are participating in the 1MALAYSIAGRIP programme.

- SEGI thinks that the programmers will benefit many employees in the workforce and seeks to engage Segians (our staff) to promote and recruit potential students.

- The potential candidates will be recruited and registered once SEGI or any of its training providers receive the full approval from HRDF to launch and start the relevant 1MALAYSIAGRIP programmers.

- The management has approved of an incentive scheme for staff and the terms of the said scheme can be found in the attachment "1MALAYSIAGRIP - Student Recruitment Incentive Scheme".

- SEGI has submitted the following courses which has been approved or in the midst of being approved pending processing of a few documents.
