有关买卖土地合约之银行信用证明纸的问题

在签字那天，律师有给我家人签一张纸，律师解说是
万一买家要向bank货款的话，bank需要一张所谓的信任证明纸，
所以需要我家人签这个信任证明纸。
当时我问律师这个有没有问题，律师说没有问题的，家人签了。
我有疑问，大大们可否抽空意思意思帮我看看下，
内容大意说些什么？我有google来，看得我头昏脑涨

这张纸内容是这样的：
we refer to the aforesaid facility which you have agreed to grant to the above named purchaser/borrower to enable them to complete the purchase of the above mentioned purchase from us.
in consideration of your bank releasing the facility to us,we hereby undertake to refund to your bank the facility amount or such part or parts thereof as shall have been released to us for our account in the even that :-
we are adjudged as a bankrupt/wound up/
the said property cannot be registered in favour of / transferred to the purchaser name and / or the charge in respect of the said property cannot be registered in your favour for any reason due to any default on our part.
