I'll take note of your suggestions and continue with some research. How should I explore those places? local tour/private driver/self drive? Not sure how easy to drive in Bandung but I have 5 days driving experience in Bali. however road condition in Bali probably better than other cities in Indonesia.
For Bandung I'm thinking to go either Trans Studio or Kampung Gajah. Which one worth going? (for kids... no choice

If you are travelling with kids, my suggestion is you can look for local tour or private driver. It will save you a lot time and you will know where to get help in case of emergency.
Not recommed to self drive if you are not the local people because there are lot of high hill roads.
I have not been to Kampung Gajah so not able to provide comment you.
Personally, I feel Trans Studio is a good place for kids. It is some how similar to USS in Singapore.

如果有时间， 个人建议可以去5D4N. 万隆有好多地方好玩，好吃的。
重点是天气像云顶高原一样，凉凉的。很爽！

My apology, having access problems to my Cari account last few days.
Do you have good private driver contacts and where are those travel agencies located in Bandung? I tentatively plan to stay Sensa Hotel, Jalan Cihampelas. Beside Jalan Cihampelas, where else in Bandung similar to this Street (foods, shopping, nightlight etc.)
