KLIA2 Fee
1) What is klia2 Fee?
klia2 Fees is charged for mandatory klia2 facilities imposed by the airport authorities such as aerobridges and the SITA check-in/boarding systems.

2) What is the amount of the klia2 Fee? How will it be charged?
The amount is RM3 per guest. The fee is payable upon booking of your flight.

3) Why are you charging the klia2 Fee?
klia2 Fee is charged to offset the mandatory klia2 facilities charges imposed by the airport authority.

4) When will the klia2 fee be implemented?
It will be implemented effective 9th May 2014 (0001hrs GMT8+).

5) Is klia2 Fee charged per booking or per guest?
klia2 Fee will be charged per guest.

6) Is the klia2 Fee applicable across all of AirAsia’s airlines in the group?
No, klia2 Fee is only applicable to all guests flying on AirAsia and AirAsia X departing from klia2.

7) I have a connecting flights via klia2. Is the klia2 Fee applicable for fly-thru?
No. klia2 Fee will only be applicable when you are checking in at Kuala Lumpur and not if you are in transit on a Fly-Thru booking.

8) Is the klia2 Fee refundable?
In line with our Terms and Conditions of Carriage, all fees paid are non-refundable.

9) AirAsia and AirAsia X will only start its operation from klia2 starting 9th May. Will I be charged the klia2 Fee for flights departing from 1st - 8th May from LCCT?
No. klia2 fee is only applicable for flights departing from klia2 from 9th May 2014.

10) I bought my ticket before 9th May, however, I am travelling on 9th May 2014 from klia2, do I need to pay the klia2 fee?
No. klia2 Fee will only be imposed on bookings made from 9th May 2014 @0001am hours GMT+8. Bookings made prior to this date will be exempted from this fee.

11) Does the fee differ for children/infant and adult?
No. klia2 Fee of RM3 applies to all guests irrespective. Infants (below 2 years old) are exempted from the fee.

12) Is the klia2 Fee charged by other airlines that are operating from Klia2?
You may contact the respective airlines directly to enquire.

13) Is there any notification sent out to inform the public about the klia2 Fee?
We will not be sending our any notification, however, the klia2 fee will be clearly reflected in the booking summary in the travel itinerary.

14) How is the klia2 fee different from the Passenger Service Charge (PSC)?
klia2 Fee is a fee imposed by the airport authorities for use of the KLIA2 facilities. These facilities are the use of aerobridges and SITA check-in/boarding systems. The PSC however is also a charge imposed by airport authorities but it is for the passengers’ use of the airport which currently stands RM9/passenger for domestic and RM32/passenger.

15) I do not have checked baggage and I will check-in via your web. Will I still be charged the klia2 fee?
Yes. The fee is imposed by the airport authorities for the use of their facilities such as aerobridges and the SITA check-in/boarding systems.

别看小数目。
看回三年前的价钱，现在的价钱都100%起了。
三年前，一年飞多少次，个个应该飞到乱。 我记得自己也有七次。

有多少人的月薪，是有在这三年内起了100%。

再三年后，机票恐怕会上到什么价位。

其实如果klia2真的不用跑外面或需要淋雨上下飞机，并且比去lcct给予更舒适的环境

RM3 ??? 收那么多,应该收RM 0.50就好。如果免收更好。

我手上还有四张机票，都是之前订的，是没有付KLIA2 FEE。

我只有11月一趟来回是在KLIA 2，也是之前定的。今年其他航班都是在KLIA International Departure

我的旅游宗旨是，凡飞行时间超过6小时的，都不会选廉航，要对自己好一点麻，这4年里去的都是远程的。我会选我要的时间，飞机型号等，体验不同的机型。最小型的飞机就只乘搭过MASWINGS的Twin Otter。现在长途飞行最少有一程要选坐A380！已很多年没再追0机票了。呵呵

现在新年马航的机票比亚航还便宜RM300-600，难道还要选坐亚航回家吗？和钱过不去吗？呵呵
