我是UTAR KL campus Bachelor Engineering (HONS) Mechanical Engineering 2014 March 毕业生
现在正在物色工作，虽然还没有拿到Holder
我的成绩是 CGPA是 3.012

在此，我想询问

现在市场对于Mechanical Engineering scope 的 薪水 大概起跳多少 （最好是保守估计），以及其工作内容是什么？

说实在的，我对自己毕业过后所要征求的工作并没有一定的概念
如果能，我可能会选择construction based 的工作

希望在座朋友能提供我一些信息，以及建议~ 谢谢

最后，想知道PENANG, KL, Singapore地区同时有没有提供这类型的工作，以及公司名字

我可不想一辈子做打工族哦

而且...如果在 M&E 做工，我大概要多少年才可以自己出来开个M&E的公司？
（因为一当我成为那里的employee, 一定有一些excluson clauses bind 我指我不能到别间公司实行同样的工作
Business secret，所以如果我要开公司，自然而然我就是他们的competitor）

CNC utar课程没有的吗？ 我的大学有一科一整个学期是专读CNC的。不过我不建议你CNC的工，因为根本都不是很需要学历的。
马来西亚CNC分成四个公司：
1）卖和修CNC机器
2）操作CNC的机器做production的跟设计
3）只是修CNC机器
4）生产CNC机器（少到可怜，而且很少人会用本地生产的）

1和3是不用学历的，都是technician和sales工。CNC的technician是给刻苦耐劳耐肮脏的人做的。做sales的话口才要很好，要会跟老一辈的人打交道，因为CNC老板多数是50岁以上的人，以后厉害的话可以自己做老板。
2的做设计我不觉得需要degree，之前我看过一个uncle从完全不会到会画只是用了3个月的时间来学，毕竟只是2d的东西（用autocad）。操作CNC机的属于劳工级技术人员，更不需要degree。
4马来西亚的机没有什么人买的，因为马来西亚的r&d不强，全部人多数买日本或台湾机。做买来西亚生产CNC机器的死路一条。

总结：进CNC行业工作基本上不是很require degree。最多也是做设计的工作(autocad)。除非你做大公司就会有更多种类的职位给你。

是谁告诉你做m&e你以后不能换别的m&e公司的做同样职位的。。哪一间公司酱特别的。。
每个公司辞职了不能泄露前公司的商业机密这个是common sense。。不是说不能换去别的公司做。。

因为我读过一些case law，所以我也不确定是不是如此

自然而然，公司当然会避免别人泄露机密而防止该员工得到相同的职位吧？

我是还没有听过有酱的law啦。。如果是这样帮他做工不是很冤枉。。以后不能跳槽咩？我以前也是有读过law of engineer的subject，是没有听过这条law啦。。

Agreements in Restraint of Trade

for example, Stamford College Group Sdn Bhd v Raja Abdullah bin Raja Othman (1991)
这个jurisdiction是 那个 讲师跟学院有过签约，一当离职，讲师在2年内不能就职相同的职业。最后法院判定因为这位讲师的能力只局限于讲课，他没有其他的能力去谋生，因为，这个employment contract 被 中止，因为它影响defendant的生活

所以，在没有影响生活的情况下，employment contract是不会被中止的

因此，我的考虑是
如果我进了M&E，有很高的待遇，不过5年内不能就职同一个position （我猜测，我也不知道 M&E 是否有这个 clause），即使我离职了（被陷害？）。我同样不能做，因为Mechanical 的范围很大。所以，我还可以做其他工作。

问题在这里，我已经浪费了很多青春在这间公司了（比如说3年好了），如果要重新学过其他技能，这又耗费我的时间，而且薪水又会很低，又要重新拼过

当然，这只是我的疑惑和猜测

CNC utar 没有这个课程，只是普通地介绍过咯
还有一些实际操作，并无详细地实际练习

1. im new as a fresh graduate, apparently, i do not have any concept for the job
for example, what kind of job should i choose, oil&pump? consultancy? and so on.

you have to find out what is your personality characteristics(introvert/extrovert and etc.).if you know your personality, you will know either loves the desk bound job or non-desk bound job.
r&d/production/sales& business/consultancy line are different in terms of job scopes. so, if you love doing paper works,desk bound job suits you the most. if you like moving around and meeting new people, marketing&sales/business/project oriented work suits you the most.

what industry you interested the most?ask yourself. if you like it sure you will try to find out more about the industry(automotive/aerospace/marine/piping/manufacturing/precision manufacturing itself.
let me share with you..i had friends knew what they like. some of my friends like transport(they join different industry:automotive/marine/aerospace) and now they end up with what they like.some of them like pharmaceutical/medical device...waste management,audit etc.... some of them likes to work with something small/big...for example:
building constructions: green building,HVAC,M&E works
foundry/metal casting: pump/motor/metal production etc.
metal fabrication: on-site fabrication works
equipment lifting: elevator/lift...oil and gas processing column, heavy object lifting jobs etc...
precision parts manufacturing: milling/lathe/CNC/laser cut...

2.i wanted to know what kind of job provides what level of salary (around how many) (my CGPA only 3.012 from UTAR)
of course, the promotion rate for that job is necessary to be known

cpga is not the uppermost criteria that a recruiter will look at as long as your cpga is more than 3.00...the most important criteria that a requiter/hiring manager looking for is the interviewee personalities.soft skills are important. and definitely your personality will determines the fresh grad salary scale.
however, you should know that all companies have their own salary scheme/package for fresh grad...besides that, the job scopes and job location also determines the salary(outstation vs in office....kl vs ipoh)....so, i cannot help you much on this....but you can find this kind of information in internet(chinese cari forum/lowyat forum) or via parents/friends/cousins/boss...so, if you can do some facts finding on internet then i believe that you can get a lot of information...so, how to do it? check government's policies(for example NKEA blue print/global economic outlook). these info with tells you which sector get the most benefits from the government policies. then, you will know the prospects of that particular industry...


3. as my personality, i like design-, challenging-based, i like to create my own work.
for example, nulcear, energy those need to get research to optimize the efficiency.  

if you like to design something, consultant job suit you the most. i guest you are talking about energy-related industries???
if this is the case, then maybe you can do some facts finding on the following:
-oil and gas: pipeline, piping,rotating equipment(pump motor turbine),static equipment(pressure vessel/compressor/heat exchanger/chemical storage tank), structure(oil rigs fabrication)
-heating, ventilation, and air conditioning(HVAC)
-automation:hydraulic/pneumatic/electric
-energy manager

rule of thumb: companies that always make tonnes of money will usually pay handsomely...but still there are exceptional cases as well....

这个是他们私自另外签的合约吧。。一般公司的offer letter我不相信会有这种条件，没有看过。。也没有什么需要解释的。。
