（吉隆坡5日讯）民政党全国总秘书拿督梁德明今日获委任为威立（Kumpulan Powernet Bhd）董事经理。
根据今日向大马交易所的报备，现年47岁的梁德明是取代Woo Wai Mun，后者在执掌3年后，以追求其他商业和个人承诺为由辞职。
44岁的Woo是在2015年8月加入威立，并曾担任集团执行主席，之后在2016年调任为董事经理。他持有公司3.651%股权。
与此同时，梁德明是前柔佛州新邦令金（Simpang Renggam）区国会议员，在本届大选败给土著团结党的马智礼。如今马智礼是教育部长。
根据文告，梁德明获得日本东北大学电子工程学位，他目前也是Cempaka私人有限公司和Eight-Tel私人有限公司的董事。
威立的业务是制造用于内衣行业的经编织物，之后扩大至服装、汽车、家居、鞋类和工业产品的经编织物和机织面料。该公司亦涉足产业投资业务。
