Unless otherwise defined, the terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the announcement dated 26 February 2016. On behalf of the Board of Directors of KPB (“Board”), Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for the extension of time of up to 10 May 2017 to complete the implementation of the Private Placement has lapse. The Company has not been able to implement the Private Placement as it was not able to identify appropriate and suitable investors, and thus will no longer proceed with the Private Placement.
