Message Classification: Restricted Dear Mr X Thank you for collecting the receipt. However, we note that your feedback is regarding different money changers charging the same rates for the SGD/MYR currency pair. Therefore, we would need receipts for SGD/MYR from at least one other money changer for that same day (1 Feb 2013), or any other day prior to the CNY period. As explanation: Section 34 of the Competition Act prohibits agreements between competitors that prevent, restrict or distort competition. Dear Mr X
Thank you for your feedback.
We understand from you that money changers in Singapore are setting exchange rates for Singapore Dollar-Malaysian Ringgit to about 2.42-2.43 for this period leading up to the Chinese New Year.
As a start, do you have receipts of the rates at which you changed money at, or any kind of evidence of such happenings? These would be very useful in our assessment of such practices.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at 6325 8237 or my colleague Ms Candice Lee at 6325 8236 to speak with us.

Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS)...
Email to CCS: Priscilla_YEE@ccs.gov.sg 或者 Candice_LEE@ccs.gov.sg
