（吉隆坡26日讯）华达控股（WATTA，7226，主板工业产品股）获LG电子（LG Electronics）颁发经销权，在我国销售LG电子的智能手机，为期一年。

根据文告，华达控股子公司Watta Energy有限公司，与新加坡LG电子公司签署分销协议，Watta Energy受委为LG电子智能手机在大马的经销商。

根据协议，Watta Energy可直接转售该产品给分销商、代理商，或最终用户。

这项协议从7月1日起，已开始生效。

Introduction The Board of Directors of Watta is pleased to announce that Watta Energy (M) Sdn Bhd (“WESB”) has on 22 August 2016 entered into a Distributorship Agreement (“the Agreement”) with LG Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd (“LGE”) for the appointment of WESB as LGE’s distributor in the territory of Malaysia for the sale of LG Feature and Smart Mobile Phones (“the Products”) for a period of one (1) year. WESB may resell the Products to sub-distributors, resellers and/or end users directly. The Agreement shall commence on 1 July 2016 irrespective of the date of signing of the Agreement. LGE is a limited company incorporated in Singapore and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LG Electronics, Inc., a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, mobile communications and home appliances. 2.   Financial Effects The Agreement will not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of the Watta Group for the financial year ending 30 September 2016 and is only expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Watta Group for the financial year ending 30 September 2017 onwards, during the duration of the Agreement. 3.   Risk Factor The Company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the Agreement.  The Company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when they occur. 4.   Directors’ and/or Major Shareholders’ Interest None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect in the Agreement. 5.    Directors’ Statement The Board of Directors of Watta is of the opinion that the Agreement is in the ordinary course of business and in the best interest of the Company. （吉隆坡6日讯）华达控股（WATTA，7226，主板工业产品股）建议在年底之前，终止旗下的汽车贸易和分销业务。

华达控股旗下的华达电池工业私人有限公司，及Syarikat Perniagaan Leko私人有限公司，所经营的汽车贸易和分销业务蒙受亏损，因此建议终止该业务。

华达控股今日向交易所报备，这是为了配合公司重组计划，旨在停止亏损业务，以减少营运成本和相关费用。

华达电池工业的主要业务，是出口和代工生产（OEM）市场的汽车电池分销和贸易。

Syarikat Perniagaan Leko则负责汰换市场的汽车电池分销和贸易。

该集团预计，该建议并不会对集团股本、股权和负债造成影响，惟将导致截至12月杪的财年，出现单次的减值亏损，预计明年3月杪完成上述活动。

“终止该业务的成本料达195万令吉，并会减少每股净利和净资产达5仙。”

根据文告，自2007年实施东协自由贸易协议（AFTA）以来，许多外国品牌涌入本地而加剧竞争，导致赚幅大幅下跌，无法支撑营运成本和相关费用。

因此，该项建议可缩减长期的营运成本，并使管理层专注于业务重组和多元化。

截至今年6月杪，该业务贡献集团累计9个月营业额的30.17%，在终止该业务后，集团将更集中在贡献69.83%营业额的电信产品贸易和服务业务。【e南洋】
