Liverpool FC today announced an exciting new venture between the club's stadium tours department and the Tesco Clubcard rewards scheme which will allow shoppers to exchange points for tours of Anfield.
The Tesco Clubcard rewards scheme allows customers an opportunity to swap points accrued on their personal shopping for Clubcard vouchers and ultimately entrance at the UK's most popular tourist attractions and much more.
As part of Liverpool FC's new scheme with Tesco, the club has become one of those featured attractions offering entrance to adults and concessions in exchange for Clubcard vouchers.
Just ￡6 in Clubcard vouchers is enough to get a chance to take the award-winning stadium tour and go behind the scenes at Anfield.
Andrew Parkinson, operations director at Liverpool FC, said: "We are always looking for new opportunities and Tesco Clubcard has a huge customer reach so it made sense to add our product alongside their existing portfolio.
"We see this as an opportunity to increase our customer base and target those who may not have normally thought about purchasing one of our products or Liverpool fans who see a return visit as a free day out.
"We are delighted with this new venture and are looking forward to working with Tesco to give added profile of our stadium tours experience which will feature alongside some of the top attractions in the country."
