還在猶豫要不要上5.0.1 的我，真的想知道有沒有解決耗電問題，要看看大家的答案哦。

所有關於iPhone 4S 最新版本iOS 5.0.1 (Build 9A406)：

iPhone 4S 5.0.1 9A406 升級法
注意：建議有類似No sim card installed & Searching 問題的朋友才好升級。
現在的iTunes 可能升級不到能解決No sim card installed & Searching 問題的iOS 5.0.1 9A406，特此教大家另一個升級法，如下：
1）先下載5.0.1 9A406 firmware ipsw [按我下載] （如果你下載到是 .zip 文件，請試看用別的browser 重新下載，如：firefox / google chrome，多數是IE 下載會出現類似問題。）
2）確認你下載的"iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.ipsw 文件" 是810.55MB（你可能看到810MB or 811MB ）
3）確認你的iTunes 是最新版本
4）將你的iPhone 4S 跟iTunes sync 一次，做個backup
5）然後在Summary 畫面那兒，按著鍵盤Shift 鍵不放，滑鼠Click Restore，然後選你下載好的"iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.ipsw 文件"開始Restore


6）Restore 完畢后可以選擇set up as new iphone, restore from icloud backup 或者restore from itunes backup （個人是用itunes 的）


7）完成，去settings - general - about 看看

昨天测试自己Updates 成功了。

我的小白4S，上个星期六Updates IOS 5.0.1(9A405）. 结果出现 No Service , No Sim 卡，时常打不出去，3G 不能用的问题。吓到我。

经过我在多边网络询问后，网络上也是有人遇上了这个问题。 也是Updates IOS 5.0.1(9A405）.  会出现网络Sim 卡 & 3G问题。

解决方法是： Updates IOS 5.0.1(9A406) 。Updates 后完全解决上列问题。网络&3G非常稳定。昨晚连续用了6个小时，都没有出现网络&3G问题。

如何 IOS 5.0.1(9A405）- > Updates IOS 5.0.1(9A406) ：

Updates 后，几个版本的电池使用心得如下：

我的电话蛮多的，24小时开着3G .VIBER SKYPE MSN LINE WHATSAPP 。

IOS 5.0.0    机一来就有的Version ，电池很吃电。我电话多，3G 开着。一天要Charge 2此才足够。

IOS 5.0.1(9A405）.   一直出现网络&3G问题，时常打不出去，没有线没3G。 但是电池改善了一点，品均一个小时下降5-8%。一天大约Charge 一次。

IOS 5.0.1(9A406）.   完全改善网络&3G问题，网络&3G非常稳定。电池方面，昨天晚上晚上12点 - 早上起来 6点钟 还有89% ，到目前中午12点，电源还有69% 。

结论就是： IOS 5.0.1 比 IOS 5.0.0  有改善电池问题。不过，还是一天要充一次啦。习惯就好。

早前 Apple 為 iPhone 4S 推出一個獨有的 iOS 5.0.1 Build 9A406 新版給 iPhone 4S 用戶，人們也不知道它的目的。不過，今天終於從 Apple 的支援網頁得知了！新版解決部份用戶出現不能找出 micro-SIM 卡的問題，甚至是有時出現 No Service、Searching 等找 SIM Card 情況。對於已升級 iOS 5.0.1 的用戶，這個升級也值得更新，但未升級的就不要升了！iOS 5 比 iOS 5.0.1 省電很多！

自從 iOS 5.0.1 後，電池問題比以往更加嚴重！可惜 Apple 沒有打算推出 iOS 5.0.2 來解決問題，反而改推 iOS 5.1 Beta，然而直到 Beta 2 也沒有明顯改善這問題。不過，Apple 剛剛卻推出了一個專為 iPhone 4S 而設的 iOS 5.0.1 Firmware，這是 4S 才可使用的版本，未知跟以往有沒有鉊別，然而過往 iOS 絕少會獨立為某型號推一個 Firmware，究竟會否有改變呢？這版本注名了是 9A406 for iPhone 4S，有別於 9A405 for iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 1, iPod touches。若你未升級 iOS 5.0.1，站長建議你停留在 iOS 5.0 會比較好！

Another important news is that Apple is working in a new significant update iOS 5.1 which will feature several enhancements and improvements to the new shinny Siri service. iOS 5.1 will give Siri the ability to access and use functions such as taking photos, recording videos, enabling or disabling Bluetooth and WiFi and more. The report didn't revealed the release date of iOS 5.1. Anyway We will update you once more information comes-in.

　　为了进一步证明是否iPhone 4S硬件出现问题导致耗电快，这名开发者将两台机子恢复到出厂设置，接着又恢复备份。不同的是，这一次他将两台机子的备份交换，也就是，在用来测试开发的iPhone 4S恢复日常使用的iPhone 4S的备份，反之，在日常使用的iPhone 4S恢复测试开发的iPhone 4S备份。

　　交换之后的结果令人吃惊，那台本来没有电池问题的iPhone 4S，在恢复了日常使用的iPhone 4S备份之后，竟出现了严重的耗电问题。另一台原先耗电的机子，恢复了用于测试开发使用的iPhone 4S备份后，却表现出良好的电池续航能力。

　　虽然电池问题总是与软件有关系，但这次苹果发布iOS更新后仍不能解决耗电问题，引起用户纷纷猜测是否与iPhone 4S硬件有关。这位开发者的测试证实了，iPhone 4S硬件并不是造成电量耗损的主因。

Apple Continuing to Investigate iOS 5 Battery Issues

Yesterday, Apple released iOS 5.0.1, the first update to the company's latest iOS 5.0 mobile operating system and one designed in large part to address complaints of battery life issues. But even with the update, a number of users are still reporting significant issues with battery life on their iOS devices.

Apple has now provided a statement to AllThingsD indicating that it is continuing to investigate the battery life complaints in an attempt to determine what is causing the problems.

"The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices,” the company said in a statement. “We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”

Apple has not committed yet to a near-term iOS update to address any additional issues, but is presumably already working on a follow-up update incorporating fixes for any other problems it discovers.

近日很多人談論 iPhone 4S 耗電問題，iOS 5 及 iPhone 4S 的確較之前用電多，但透過以下設定就能夠提升電池的持航能力。大家不妨參考一下。


1. 關掉 Siri！
這肯定是最難下的決定，如果關掉 Siri 就令 iPhone 4S 三大升級理由（雙核、800 像素攝影、Siri）之一失去！不過，關掉它換來更長久的電源持航力，大家會考慮嗎？

2. 將 PING 關掉

4. 關掉一些 GPS 功能
不少 App 也需要存取 GPS 功能，造成電力消耗。如果沒需要使用 GPS 的話，請將此功能關閉！大家可以到 “設定” → “定位服務” 中找到相關設定。


5. 關掉自動偵察時區功能
無聊但浪費電力的功能！還是到 “設定” → “定位服務” 內將「設定時區」一項關上吧！

剛剛朋友說他的iPad1 用safari 會耗電(iOS 5.0)。。不過我自己的iPad1 也沒怎樣察覺。。 （我自己比較少用。 ）
他說：safari 上網10分鐘，會掉5%。。。還有昨天連續播放影片加外接螢幕。。。三個小時完蛋了。。。

我4S 用 5.0.1, 昨晚刚升级. 昨晚10点开始待机到现在早上9点, 87%. wifi 3G全开, 无运转.
升级之前现在大概最多只剩72%了.

我的upgrade前，玩games两三个小时耗电是30多巴仙。
upgraded后，玩games两三个小时耗电是20多巴仙。
前提是我关掉location services／systems services的location,mobile,setting,traffic.

用iPhone 4 的朋友都懂不是硬體問題，因為4.3.3 都沒有耗電問題。

有notification 通常我就在lock screen slide 進去看了，很少會進去pull down notification centre，去notification centre 都是爽爽才拉的，而不是有重要訊息。
