我没做过Finance所以不懂该怎么走。。
其实IA还是finance比较赚钱呢？
还有想问大大是做那一行的？

其實 Finance 當然比較好賺咯。
Finance 也很廣啊，以後還可以考慮去 bank 工作這樣。

IA 这条路真的很窄。。
很少要请人。。
有的话也是要些几年经验的人。。
现在要转其他公司也找没有呀。。
反而Finance的就很多。。

做IA以后会很难跳出来,除非你在audit line做过几年那就不同了.
Big4压力大可以考虑midium或一些比较有名 ...

我也蛮担心的。。
感觉前途茫茫呀。。
在考虑要不要继续做IA。。
其实起步在Audit firm 真的有比较好？

而且你学的东西也比较多呀。。

其实我国的IA没有standard，人家外国公司的IA还是以Finance和iTsystem为主的。看你以后要什么。

在外国因为有corporate government, 才有 independent director,  才有IA，本地的IA真的是可有可无的, 尤其是Family run的公司。IA完全不是independent 的。 IA 本来就是要 challenging CEO ， CFO 的， 帮助 shareholder，如果IA还需要听CEO的话， IA就不independent 了。

说实在每个人应该在求学时期就被lecturers, seniors给brainwash说毕业后最好在audit firm呆
我个人认为big 4 的audit firm生活多姿多彩
而且可以认识很多同年龄层的朋友，在部门晃来晃去也可以kacau下自己的朋友和managers
我在big 4呆足3年到了AM level才甘愿跑出来
现在出来了commercial, 生活比以前单调多咯， 呆在自己的房间，除了工作就是工作

哈哈哈，是的，目前還在。
我才在這裡呆半年多而已啊。

話說，其實 Advisory 很廣，剛好我 under Governance Advisory，做的就是 IA 的 job scopes 咯。
但其他 Advisory 部門有 Insolvency (more on liquidation) 啦， Transaction Services (Due diligence, M&A) 啦，這樣。
然後我的部門也要做 IT Audit 的，只是目前為止都還沒有被分配到關於這一塊。

哈哈哈哈。
Big 4 很多姿多彩，但是壓力和忙碌的程度實在是讓人不敢恭維啊～

哈哈哈哈，这就靠自己站在什么角度去看....忙碌和压力可以让人成长（每个financial statements signed的时候那个成就感其实很大）
在做senior的时候，面对的压力真的很多（无论是外面还是里面攻势）....
但现在看回去也很庆幸自己能够完成每一个audit engagement...

比如说一间公司买了一架MACHINE，MACHINE的INSTALLATION，LABOUR  FEE 可以放进FA的EXPENSES吗？

如果哪架MACHINE还没OPERATION，OR THE MACHINE ALREADY OPERATION？

可以帮我解答吗？需要各位的帮忙

你好，

买 machine 的installation 和 labour fee 是放进expenses。不能capitalized。

至于你问的关于machine开始operation了没有，其实在account里是没有影响的，当公司一收到对方开的invoice，就要进FA了。
会有影响的地方是在tax-capital allowance（CA）那边。如果开始operation了，CA就能开始扣了。如果还没开始用在生意上，关于这一点，我还有一点困扰，不知道要等到开始operation了才算IA和AA，还是在还没operation的时候，也要算了，只是那个是notional allowance, 也就是说在这段期间算出来的CA不能扣税。希望有人能帮忙解答我这个问题。还有如果我有说错，请纠正我，谢谢。

这就要视乎你那间公司的policy了。通常在audit firm做工，当你的薪水超过一定的数目时，就没有OT claim了。

16.        The cost of an item of property, plant and equipment comprises:

我也很想念以前在BIG 4呆了五年的时光
虽然辛苦忙碌时常要熬夜，可是有一帮好同事一起陪伴度过peak period
然后时常outstation，见不同的人，不同的公司行业，还有FRS, MFRS, PERS, company act, income tax act这些都要熟悉
这些年把握栽培成有实力的人
现在到了commercial好不习惯，时间多得很，好空闲的，然后准时回家不知道晚上要做什么
然后开始学会吃蛇，开始扮很忙
突然觉得自己很没用
然后就开始怀念以前auditor的日子了~~
