finance cost 78000 ,
deposit 20000
interest 9948..
每一期供款2443
買進日期may 2010,account y/e 30 of sept 2010
我要怎樣進fixed asset,depreciation 怎么算～～如何double entry..
每個月供款要如何double entry?(這個帳是會計樓做的，所以哦我還沒看到gl。。想學所以問大家）

DR Hire purchase interest in suspense      9,948
CR     Bank loan (Liability)                                87,948

Every month make payment

根据您的上述资料，我相信你的贷款期限为3年 = 36 installments, so interest for 1st installment is as follow:

DR Hire Purchase interest (P & L)           537.73
CR      Hire puchase interest in suspense           537.73

Formula for Hire purchase interest     
分母= [n(n+1)] / 2 , where n = no of installments
      = (36 X37) /2
      = 666
第一个月利息分期
= (36 / 666) X 9948
= 537.73

第二个月利息分期
= (35/666) X 9948
= 522.79

第三个月利息分期
= (34/666) X 9948
= 507.86  

其他利息分期，以此类推。

Depreciation 方面，必须要知道贵公司的 Depreciation method and rate.  Assume 你的公司是用Straight line method at rate of 20% with no residual value

一年的Depreciation 是
= 98,000 X 20% = 19,600

一个月的Depreciation 是
= 19600 / 12 = 1,633.33

如贵公司是每月record depreciation. its double entry
DR   Depreciation of equipment     1,633.33
CR     Accumulated depreciation                 1,633.33

用Hire purchase payable会好一点的。


还有，计算interest expense可以用sum of digit method or straight line method. 如果要简单的，就用straight line method. 用total interest / number of instalment = interest per month

我相信在这里讨论的都是小公司。都应该是用Private Entity Reporting Standard的，那就是MASB的accounting standard. FRS可能是用不上的。

    我发现现在有一个很奇怪的显现，就是auditor就是很喜欢用sum of digit method，可是所得税局很多officer都说没听过，他们还有一个很奇怪的见解，就是做tax时要based on straight line method 重算（因为在他们kusus时只有受straigh line,根本没有提到其他的），不过我很不同意这点。到现在我的顾客都没有给他们penalty过，如果有的大大这个问题的大大，可以和我分享一下

我个人觉得2种方法都可以用的。因为会计准则都没明文规定。

如果要complying with FRS 117, 可以参考Para 25 and 26:

25. Minimum lease payments shall be apportioned between the finance charge and the reduction of the outstanding liability. The finance charge shall be allocated to each period during the lease term so as to produce a constant periodic rate of interest on the remaining balance of the liability. Contingent rents shall be charged as expenses in the periods in which they are incurred.

26. In practice, in allocating the finance charge to periods during the lease term, a lessee may use some form of approximation to simplify the calculation.

    我明白在accounts 里两个都可以用，可是IRB 的officer prefer 用straight line,可能对他们来说比较容易理解。。。所以我想知道有没有谁因为那样给officer为难？

    没办法，他们很多都不是accountant，他们只会说kusus没教。。。。可是这些通常是audit meja 做的，我和这里audit meja 的head 关系还不错。。。。哈哈哈

    Desk Audit Officer 不是更加没料吗？因为他们多数只是查“有没有documents to support claim relief”，没有深入audit的，要什么就用书信来往吧了，不像Field Audit上门查，看完所有资料。

    desk audit 会更注意tax comptutation， 而field audit 会把注意力专注在supporting documents
