How do yourate your English? How do you rate your teachers’?

A goodcommand of English will boost not just your language examination scores (as animmediate and demonstrable effect) but in turn and in time also your knowledge, confidence and wealth (material as well as intellectual). The underlying factoris English, or more precisely – a good command of English.

However, in Malaysia, schools teach Inggeris and people everywherespeak Manglish*. I feelobliged to warn you here inthe strongest terms possible that INGGERIS (or Manglish) ISONE THING, AND ENGLISH IS QUITE SOMETHING ELSE. The former confines you toMalaysia and its Manglish-speaking “pi-pe” (people) while the latter takesyou around the world (actually only around theEnglish-speaking countries, as hardly anyone in Africa, continental Europe,Latin America and most parts of Asia knowsany English; though here inMalaysia, strangely enough, most of us pretend that we do). Feeling totally confused andtroubled now? Don’t be, as help is nearand only a phone call away.

Nothing isever easy. By the same token, nothing is ever too difficult, either – that is, if you have the good fortune ofmeeting an experienced tutor who has himself gone through the learning processand succeeded.

Who is thatexperienced tutor? Please call me on 016-4263565. You mighthave finally found what you have been looking for. A good tutor needs a goodstudent, and vice-versa. Together like a bicycle and a rider, we can and we willmove forward. I lookforward to hearing from you shortly.

Sincerely yours,

TAN Yak Huan陈益焕
