RAPPELZ' trademark is its in-house patterned pet system which allows regular pets to be significantly useful to their master. In the early stages of the character’s training, pets are already introduced. Also known as Creatures, these special allies grow, train and eventually fight along with their master.
Creatures and pets in Rappelz also manage to level up! They go through the challenge of a 3-stage evolution. Along the way, the pets learn of their unique battle style and acquire more job levels. A character, depending on his class, can have to the maximum, three pets.
It is then fair to say that an avatar reincarnating himself through his pets can be three times more powerful and efficient than a regular warrior.
HIGH-END CUSTOMIZATION OF CHARACTERS AND CLASS STRUCTURES
Players of Rappelz are sure to enjoy the variety of characters and skill customization. Upon starting, he can already decide on which race (Deva, Asura, Gaia) to use and what physical features he wants his avatar to possess. Aesthetically customizable at the beginning of the game are face structure and markings, hair, and skin tone. Also, among the most admired venture of this game is the player’s ability to decide his in-game profession. He can be a Guide, Stepper or Rouge depending on his chosen race. As the player reaches level 50, these three professions can be further upgraded into more specific class structures.
Weaving the gamer’s understanding of his chosen profession, skills and possibilities, he is now ready to embark on more complicated tasks.
OWNABLE, ADVENTURE-SEEKING DUNGEONS
Rappelz offers challenging dungeon sieges, sieges that can only be won by closely coordinating with a guild. There are two levels in the dungeon siege. First level is the raid and the second level is the siege.
All interested guilds are allowed to join the raid. The challenge initially rises as the participating guilds are tasked to kill two great bosses at the shortest time possible. The winning guild advances to the second level, the dungeon siege itself.
Conversely, the dungeon siege requires more tactical and strategic planning as the winning guild engages in purely PVP battle. It is like going through the eye of a needle. The current guild owner battles with the recent raid winner.
Dungeon siege is an anticipated event in Rappelz done weekly. The best fame and wealth awaits the top-rank, unbeatable guild.
THREE-FOLD QUESTS
It is an acknowledge fact that quests exist in all MMOs, but what makes Rappelz extra special? Rappelz allows a three-fold quest. These include the storyline quests, repeatable quests and quests given by Sayah in the hidden village (requires hidden village pass). All quests are sure to give rewards, however, if one wishes to get maximum rewards he may opt to take all the quests simultaneously. With the myriad of quests offered by Rappelz, boredom is never an option.
