To use 'Out of body experience' or '灵魂出窍' is too obscure to such an event. Old sorcerers call it dreaming . In ordinary dreams, we do not have any mechanical control over, nor do we have any volition over it. dreaming means that we , through our intent and techniques , gain control over the general situation in our ordinary dreams.
Intent or intending is something very difficult to talk about. I or anyone else would sound idiotic trying to explain it. Bear that in mind when you hear what I have to say next: sorcerers intend anything they set themselves to intend , simply by intending it.To intend is to wish without wishing, to do without doing.
There are no definite ways to start dreaming. However, there are pointers. One of the pointer is to intend to become aware of falling asleep. That is, you are aware that your body is sleeping, whether in your dreams or right after you have fallen asleep. Another pointer is that, once you have 'awaked' in your dream, you quickly look at your hands and then glance through all the images in your dream. Don't focus, if you focus all your images will become blur and it will become ordinary dream again , which u have no control over it. After glancing through those images, they will become blur and now you look at your hands again (of course anything will do but hands are the most accessible one) to saturate your dreaming attention.
