The Board of Directors of Unisem (M) Berhad (the “Company”) wishes to announce that on 28 June 2019, PT Unisem, an indirect subsidiary of the Company, made an announcement to its employees, customers, suppliers, creditors and other stakeholders to discontinue the operations in Batam, Indonesia. The decision to discontinue operations in PT Unisem was arrived at due to continuing losses over the years since 2011.  Despite recent investments the business outlook for PT Unisem continues to be weak. The management will be working in phases to scale back the operations ahead of closing the facility in PT Unisem effective 30 September 2019. This announcement is dated 28 June 2019.

（吉隆坡6日讯）半导体业者友尼森（Unisem (M) Bhd）截至今年6月杪次季（2019财年次季）净利暴跌逾半至1445万令吉，一年前为3114万令吉，主要是销量下跌所致。

根据文告，外汇收益减少进一步影响净利。

这导致每股盈利从2018财年次季的2.5仙，下滑至2019财年次季的2仙。季度营业额按年降低9.1%至3亿1193万令吉，2018财年次季报3亿4320万令吉。

尽管如此，友尼森宣布派发每股2仙中期股息，将于9月6日支付。

季度表现疲弱拖累集团现财年首半年净利按年狂泻44.9%至2051万令吉，一年前为3720万令吉，营业额则从2018财年首半年的6亿6475万令吉，萎缩7.5%至6亿1506万令吉。

展望未来，友尼森预计全球贸易战带来的不确定性将持续到现财年下半年。

(吉隆坡7日讯)友力森(UNISEM,5005,主板科技组)因受中美贸易战所累，2019财政年第二季及首半年业绩表现落后市场预测，分析员预期未来季度表现持续疲弱，下砍财测及派息预测。

达证券将2019至2021财政年的净利预测，分别下调31.8%、18.8%及22.9%，主要反映较低销售成长假设，特别是美中贸易战持续纠缠不清以及关闭印尼工厂的影响。2019至2021财政年的每股股息预测，从原本的7.5仙，下调至4.0仙、6.0仙及7.0仙。

短期缺利好

艾芬黄氏研究表示，友力森短期内缺乏催化利好因素，加上美中贸易战持续，盈利潜在下行风险，并将财测下调12至29%之间。

大马投行对2019财政年业绩表现持谨慎态度，主要是美国与中国的贸易战依然持续未解，使全年营收成长持平，特别是智能手机及汽车领域产品需求下跌，惟旗下的微电-机械系统(MEMS)微型电话包装业务的订单有增无减，从每月300万令吉增加至500万1000万令吉之间，料可抵销部份劣势。

MIDF研究指出，友力森未来业务前景持续暗淡，预料市场需求将难以显著回扬，将2019及2020财政年净利预测下调30.4%及35.7%，同时也将其目标价下调及维持脱售评级。

第三季表现料持平

丰隆研究指出，友力森业绩低于预期，这主要是美国与中国贸易战因素，导至较低的营收及赚幅受到侵蚀，预期第三季表现将持平，公司关闭峇淡业务是短期负面及长期有利。

丰隆将2019至2021财政年的净利预测，分别下调38%、17%及5%。大马投行则将2019至2021财政年净利预测下砍15至23%之间。

The Acquisition is to streamline the corporate structure and allows Unisem to consolidate 100% of the results of UAT. Please refer to the attachment for the detailed announcement.
