根据报导，她是一位进攻型的FIGHTER，和大马以前的FIGHTER有所不同，
她很有可能为大马摘下一枚奥运奖牌。。。

据报导，以前的是防守型的，只会在有机会才出击，
所以以前难赢奖。。。希望不同的FIGHTER 能为大马争光。。。

跆拳道是8月26日开始。

至于抽签，可能要等到20号过后才能出来，所以也不知道她的签运如何。

她星期四就从韩国返国了。。。
做么要回来咧？直接去雅典去就好了嘛。。。

有丫！廣告丫！每次都有好像出現在TV1，2，3這几台啦！呃？又好像是ASTRO的。。。
廣告那裡有影到他練習時的情況，也告訴我們他是OLYMPIC的選手！。。。

我觉得这样更加累

倒不如就在韩国休息，一直到奥运会要开始了才直接飞过去
不用飞来飞去

反正又不用回来抽签什么的
抽签都是到了雅典才抽

留在韩国又比较容易找到人和她spar

Elaine has to burn the midnight oil in her bid for a medal

PETALING JAYA: No expense will be spared to turn taekwondo exponent Elaine Teo into a medal contender in the Athens Olympics. And that includes turning her into a lady of the night.

National coach R. Dhanaraj plans to have Elaine, who will be making her debut in Athens, to start training from midnight onwards starting from next week.

揟hat is what I have in mind before we leave for Athens. She will have about a two-hour session from midnight until she leaves for Athens. She will not train in the morning,?said Dhanaraj.

揑 believe that the new time will benefit her because I want to get her to adjust to the competition schedule in Athens.

揌er competition will be at exactly the same time in Malaysia. Besides, it is a fresh approach. Her training currently is high in intensity but not as long as when she was in South Korea,?he added.

Dhanaraj said he hopes the Malaysian Taekwondo Association (MTA), which will meet on Monday, will approve the plan.

The World University Games bronze medallist will be given a sparring partner in national exponent Rusfredy Petrus.

Besides the midnight training sessions, Elaine is now currently getting help on the mental training sessions from National Sports Council (NSC) psychologist Vela Pandian.

揝he will compete in her first Olympics and when everyone is saying that you can win a medal, the expectation tends to grow on you as the time gets nearer.

揥e want to make sure Elaine is mentally strong and prepared in the best possible way. We want to avoid what happened to Lee Wan Yuen in Sydney. She lost in the first round because she just could not handle the pressure.?nbsp;

Wan Yuen was the first Malaysian exponent to qualify for the women's heavyweight division at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, where taekwondo made its debut as a medal sport.

Elaine returned home on Thursday after a month-long training stint in South Korea. Elaine, who won gold in the Austrian and Korean Open, has been given a break and is now back home in Malacca.

The 23-year-old will be the last Malaysian athlete to leave for Athens on Aug 18.  

She will be competing in the women's below 49kg flyweight category which begins on Aug 26.

The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) have earmarked her as a possible medal contributor and her chances have increased with the news that there will be no South Korean exponents in her weight division.

Each country is only allowed to field a maximum of four exponents for the Olympics taekwondo competition. There are a total of eight weight divisions (four men and four women).

Dieting is also an important factor in the remaining days until Elaine leaves for Athens.

揝he is competing in a different category. Elaine previously fought in the 52kg division and she moved down because the Olympics events have only combined weight categories.

揝he have to watch her weight and stay within 49kg or she can be disqualified.?nbsp;

Dhanaraj believes Elaine has a good chance of bagging a medal if she gets a good draw.

揝he is now much better than when she fought in the Asian qualification tournament in Thailand, where she earned her ticket to the Olympics.?nbsp;

The competition in taekwondo in the Olympics is fought under a repechage system. A fighter would have to win all three bouts to reach the final. Those who lose in the second round still have a chance to win a bronze but will have to fight up to six bouts.
