本人自己牺牲了几天来写出这个拉大GPA和CGPA的计算机。



使用手册:

The user needs 5 stuffs mention as below:

Installation of Python:下载:

1)'python-2.5.1.msi

4)'Python_First_Version_A.py'

Firstly, the user needs to install the Python before you can compile or run the both programmes 'Python_First_Version_A.py' and 'Python_First_Version_B.py' .

The installation steps as below:

1)Install  'python-2.5.1.msi' first, then
2)Install 'numpy-1.0.3.1.win32-py2.5.exe' , then
3)Install 'scipy-0.6.0.win32-py2.5.exe'
4)After installed, please restart your computer.
5)Place your 'Python_First_Version_A.py' and 'Python_First_Version_B.py' at your safety location.
6)You can now double click the 'Python_First_Version_A.py'
and 'Python_First_Version_B.py' respectively for enjoying the powerful of the Python programming.

本人已经写了两个不同的版本。在未来的日子里，我希望还可以再更新versions.暂时我写的Python programming还可以派上用场。

不好意思，本人现在发现UTAR的grading system已经更换了。

所以，programme暂时不能分享给大家，因为本人用的是旧的grading system.

旧的grading system:
A+/A 4
A- 3.70
B+ 3.30
B 3
B- 2.70
C+ 2.30
C 2
D 1
F 0

新的grading system:
A+/A 4
A- 3.67
B+ 3.33
B 3
B- 2.67
C+ 2.33
C 2

若是第一次probation, 你得加倍努力，
别用掉接下来的两个probation,
不然你就说bye bye to UTAR了。

朋友的情况~
连续中了3次probation ~
appeal 后，被迫去金宝留级重读所有failed 过的科目。
而且utar 有给我们知道，
如果这一次的留级还是不及格就是CGPA 不过2.0 ，
就不能再留级了~就是说我们只有一次的机会留级。
所以那时她的CGPA 真的不过 2.0 ，
怎样appeal 都好，Utar 就是不收她。


这个就是我所讲的第一次中三次probation

这样我不知道了~
当时我去询问officer 的时候，
他们是这样跟我解释的。
(CGPA less than 2.0) 第一probation，还有2 次机会。
(CGPA still less than 2.0) 第二次probation，还有1 次机会。
(CGPA still less than 2.0) 第三次probation，不能再继续了~
如果要appeal 的话，通常是留级的。

并没有跟我们说GPA 的事情。

后来，在金宝的时候，朋友有跟我提起这件事情就是你讲。
我才知道。

以上两个的说明有一点点不一样，所以我也不知道哪一个才是准确。

刚刚看到有人询问CGPA的问题~


若你们的 GPA 在一个sem是少于2.00 就会被 Probation.

若你们的 GPA 在连续两个sem少于2.00 以及  CGPA 是少于2.00  就会被 Termination of Study.

以下也是无法在官方那里找到的资料。

(B) ACADEMIC STANDING


1.  Probation

A candidate shall be put on Probation if his GPA for a semester is less than 2.0000 except in a semester where all units taken do not contribute towards the computation of GPA and CGPA. The Academic Probation Period shall continue and shall end when the candidate has attained a GPA of2.0000 and above in the following semester.



2. Termination of Study


A candidate’s course of study shall be terminated if his GPA is less than 2.0000 in two consecutive semesters and his CGPA for the current semester is less than 2.0000, except in a semester where all units taken do not contribute towards the computation of GPA and CGPA.


3.

For Probation and Termination of study, only the structured semester where the course units are displayed in the course structure for which the candidate has registered and sat for the examinations shall be taken into account.

    如果是第一次中3次probation~ 然后留级重读的话~
    会成功的~

    如果留级后，还是不过2.0 ~
    两条路给你选~
    一就是整理好行李回家~ 大学不适合你~
    二就是重新选过另外一个 course ~

成绩出了，大家可以利用它来预测你的未来成绩。

Repeat这个字眼不是随随便便写出来的，
只要你有repeat（重读）科目，才会在你的transcript上写repeat.

你的C是pass了，你是不需要repeat 啦...
只有F or D, 他们才去想他们需不需要repeat...

F是没有啦
只是C
我是想说尽量把它维持在3.0以上
所以说这样他们也会写repeat罗
