企业达人：林源德大刀阔斧重组 慕达控股雄霸纸业

在大马华社工商界，若提起丹斯里林源德，应该是无人不晓。

虽然众人对他的卓越领导事迹并不陌生，但对他一路走来的种种际遇及发生事故则鲜有所闻。

林源德1935年出生于马来西亚的吉打州，是家中长子。

在当地经营小本土产生意的林家并不富裕，但他父亲极重视教育，送他到北马槟城州的名校———钟灵中学接受优良的教育。

中学毕业后，他于1957年进入新加坡南洋大学就读。

林源德的领导才能似乎与生俱来，从中学到大学，他不但学业优秀，而且在课外活动方面表现突出。

他参与组织学生会，并参加各种关怀社会、弘扬正义的活动。

陈六使招揽入行

1960年，林源德从南大毕业，获得工商管理学士学位。当年南大因不被官方承认，因此毕业生无法在仕途谋取发展，绝大部分南大生只好朝经商方面发展。

如今大马华社经商有成就的华商中，不乏是当年南大培养的人才，林源德便是其中之一。

1967年，南洋大学创办人陈六使先生招揽林源德加入Paper Product（M）Sdn.Bhd.（简称马来亚纸品厂）工作，从此开始了林源德在造纸领域的事业。林源德全权管理公司，成功扩展业务。更在1976年将公司引领上市，公司更名为Paper Products Berhad。

在多年替人打工的经历中，林源德勤奋、苦干、好学，积淀下了丰富的人生经历和工作经验，为以后发展自己的事业打下了坚实的基础。

银行力邀收购财困纸厂

1978年，陈六使家族将马来亚纸品厂售予外人，林源德也离开了公司。

1982年，由于该家公司经营不善导致业绩亏损，面临财务困境。银行找上林源德，力邀他收购深受财务困扰的马来亚纸品厂。

林源德经过一番深思熟虑并在两名弟弟的大力协助下毅然将它买了下来，这使他们多年在造纸业累积下来的宝贵经验，终有发挥的难得机遇。

他回忆说：“我熟悉造纸业务，加上银行非常信任我，尽管财务资源有限，我还是毅然接受挑战，并得到2位兄弟的全力合作，经过一系列大刀阔斧的企业重组，公司很快恢复了生机，业务蒸蒸日上，在一年内即转亏为盈。”

两年后，公司改名为慕达控股（Muda Holdings Berhad），并成功挂牌上市，成为大马第一家上市的造纸及纸品公共公司。

经过20年的发展，慕达控股已成为大马国内规模庞大、业务遍布全国及海外的企业集团。

集团拥有两间造纸厂（位于中马和北马）、6间瓦楞纸箱厂（分布于全马及中国广州），以及多间生产其他纸品的纸厂，并在中国、澳洲、香港、新加坡和巴布新几内亚等地设有自己的销售办事处。

集团目前共有员工超过2800人，业务仍在不断扩展之中。

倡导纸厂公会关照同业 活跃工商社团回馈社会

在建立自己的企业王国的同时，远见卓识的林源德不忘随时关照造纸行业在大马的整体健全发展。

在他的倡导及努力下，马来西亚纸厂公会于1985年成立，他从成立起便担任公会会长共历4届8年，目前仍是该会的顾问。

林源德事业有成以后，从不忘回馈社会。

早在80年代初期，他便积极参与商团与社团的活动，他担任过隆雪潮州会馆会长及大马潮联会总会长，同时也是数间独立中学和多个华社组织的董事。

1995年，他被选为隆雪中华工商总会会长，1998年更上一层楼，成为马来西亚中华工商联合会的总会长。

在1998年，槟州元首封赐他DMPN拿督（Dato’）勋衔，肯定他为马来西亚工商领域和社会服务所做出努力及成就；2000年，他又获得大马国家最高元首封予国民的最高勋衔PSM丹斯里（Tan Sri）。

不贸然多元化陌生行业 勤勉诚恳正直耕耘事业

谈及经商之道，林源德坚守的秘诀之一是不贸然将业务多元化，尤其是扩展到自己不熟悉的行业。他从不喜欢投机，尽量避免承担过大风险。他慎重的经营模式，加上良好管理，使企业得以在过去30年间取得持续成长。

当问及对于时下欲成为一名企业家的年轻人应该具备什么条件，林源德认为，一名成功的企业家必须拥有3种特质，即是“勤勉、诚恳及正直”。

他自己一生就是秉承这三种处世态度来耕耘自己的事业，在早期为事业耕耘时寻得工作，更在45岁成为成功企业家，领导华社各个协会及团体，继而赢得华社敬重。

他肯定，若没有以上3种特质，陈六使就不会聘请他，银行也不会相信他。

他表示：“若不曾在新加坡遭受挫折，或没有陈六使的帮助，我或许未能成为一名企业家。我不是天生的企业家，却是际遇造就我；艰苦工作及决心推动我迈向成功。更重要的是在发展道路上，得力于两位弟弟的并肩打拼，才有今天的成就。”

成功不忘本 要信守承诺

林源德也补充说道，除了以上所说的三种特质之外，一名成功的企业家也应该拥有“不忘本”及“信守承诺”的思维。

他说，“正所谓前人种树、后人乘凉，年轻一辈应该时刻饮水思源，勿忘先贤们对于我们这一代的艰辛付出。

因此，只要时刻记得祖先们及对于社会的付出，我们自然而然就会传承他们的思维，为社会做出同样的贡献。”

最后，他说人只要辛勤工作，将会得到更多的经验和知识。毕竟种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆，天下也没有白吃的午餐。

一个人只要肯付出，他将会获得同等的回报。

慕达否认大股东卖股

（吉隆坡4日讯）慕达（MUDA，3883，主板工业产品股）否认大股东拿督林源德脱售公司股票的传言。

该公司向大马交易所报备，向董事和大股东Hartaban控股私人有限公司查询后，澄清市场传言不正确。

“林源德与相关人士和公司皆表示，没有脱售慕达的股权。”

《The Edge》财经日报日前引述消息指，掌舵公司超过30年的林源德，将脱售股权。

根据2013年报，他共持有公司41.5%。

消息人士指，林源德计划脱售公司股权，但目前对于买家的身分仍不清楚。【南洋网财经】

慕達斥9000萬建新生產線

（吉隆坡15日訊）慕達（MUDA，3883，主要板工業）將投資約9000萬令吉，以生產機制蠟光紙（machine glazed paper ）。

紙張產品製造商慕達指出，這項新生產線耗資約9000萬令吉，可讓公司成為國內首個生產高光澤表面的紙張；我國向來從歐洲進口上述紙張。

慕達主席丹斯里林源德說，上述生產線將分成3個階段進行。該公司將在首階段耗資3400萬令吉，在公司位于檳城新邦安拔（Simpang Ampat）的造紙廠附近，興建11萬平方尺的大樓及購買機械。

他說：“新生產線正進行測試，預計首階段將在下個月投入商業運營，年產能為1萬8000公噸。”

他是在慕達常年股東大會結束后，如是指出。第2階段生產線，預期2016年7月份完成。
　
他相信，這3個階段的擴充活動，將為公司提供6萬公噸年產能。【中国报财经】
