网上时下最火的汉字是哪个?面对这个看似无法解答的问题，网友对答案绝对不陌生：囧!如今在各大网站和论坛上，这个囧字正被网友争相使用，并被赋予了各种含义和各种形式，各种根据囧字制作的QQ表情和漫画也风靡一时……一个生僻的汉字被如此热捧，究竟是网友的恶搞还是文化传播?网上最火的汉字最近引发了一场文化争议，并引来了语言文字专家的关注。　　★囧是汉字?★囧是表情?★囧是漫画?★囧是恶搞?★囧是文化传播?一日一“囧”，正在流行……
　　
现象：“囧”最流行

　　“囧”原本是一个汉字，音为“Jiǒng”，与新华字典中的“冏”字通用，意为炯、光明。冏字的突然火爆，起源于某知名论坛里的一篇关于TVB女演员胡杏儿的讨论帖，在跟帖回复中，有人竟将胡杏儿在某部电视剧里的表情与“囧”相等同，网友还认为胡杏儿不但长得像“囧”，就连她的演技和表情都让人很“囧”!随后，“囧”成为了众网友关注的焦点，关于“囧”的各种搞笑形象开始在网络上流行开来……点开搜索引擎，“囧”字的相关网页高达12,000,000篇，其中“冏论坛”就至少有500个，如“大囧村”、“囧字营”等。

　　因为冏的形象像一张人脸：里面的小“八”字被视为眉眼，“冏”字被视为嘴巴，所以，冏便被网友们赋予了新的定义———“尴尬”、“无奈”、“真受不了”、“被打败了”等意思。

　　很多网友还突发奇想，将这个字做成了各种各样的QQ表情、四格漫画。“囧”甚至成为了很多网友每天见面的招呼语，“今天你‘囧’了吗?”随后，它的读法和用法成为了被研究的对象，更有网友专门成立了“囧”字的官方网站。同时，各种以“囧”为主题的生活用品也开始流行。

　　争议：是搞笑，还是文化传播?
　　当“囧”字在网络、生活中流行开来后，不但网络上疯狂流传关于该字的众多爆笑漫画版本，该字更是被直接移花接木到一些名人的脸上来替代他们的表情。面对“囧”字的这般遭遇，有人开始为它叫起屈来。

　　名为“大江”的网友表示，“囧”字虽说是一个生僻字，但它毕竟也是一个汉字，应该和现在正在被使用的众多简化字一样受到爱护和尊重，“在这个崇尚简化字的时代，偶然出现的生僻字居然被一些人拿来当做玩笑和恶搞他人的工具，实在很不雅，有损中华民族文化的厚重感!”不过对于这位网友的言论，也有网友表示了截然不同的看法，“囧字热闹QQ群”的管理员卓小源告诉记者，她的QQ群里的网友也对该字有着争议，不过她反倒觉得这是件好事，“其实现在大家除了关注囧字本身外，也在关心着它身上的一些文化，比如它最早是什么时候出现的，在甲骨文中的意义是什么等问题，我觉得这是一种文化的传播，让身处简化字时代的我们知道一个生僻字的意义，这难道不是一件有意义的事情吗?至于它是否遭遇恶搞，我认为只要用善意、简单的眼光来看待由这个字所衍生出来的玩笑，那么就不会把它的严重性上升到恶搞的程度!”

日前，记者就“囧”字现象采访了四川大学中文系教授雷汉青，他表示，“从非专业的角度来看，这是一个积极的文化传播现象!”

　　雷汉青说，“‘囧’字之所以如今在网络上流行，实际上是因为一些现代人根据楷书的象形特征给它赋予了新的意思，而这样一种意思和这个字的本义无关，可以看作是在局部人群中约定俗成的汉字认知。”对于网友们将这个字“改造”成各种各样的QQ表情和替换到一些名人身上是否涉嫌恶搞文字，雷汉青坦言，将这个现象归结为恶搞的范畴实在有一些言重，“关于汉字被重新拿出来定义，‘囧’绝不是第一个，‘日’字之前也被人拿出来‘翻供’为肥皂块、窗户等意思。对于这样的现象，我个人认为其实就是网络语言对汉字、方块字的一种重新解读，虽然与本义无关，但是也达到了一定的文化传播效应，所以如果说这样的现象是在恶搞汉字，我觉得有点言重了。”

　　雷汉青认为，网友将这些字根据其象形特征赋予新的意义，这对于一些不了解中国文化或者正在学习中国文化的人来说，正好起了寓教于乐的作用，“让他们先通过这些汉字的新解记住和了解汉字的形，然后再给他们灌输汉字的意，这样的方法对于汉字传播是再好不过的了。”此外，关于“囧”字的流行是否也象征着生僻字即将复苏一说，雷汉青却认为没有这个可能，“好不容易到达一个让人觉得方便的简体字时代，再让生僻字复苏实在是没有必要!”
　
关于“囧”和“Orz”

　　说起“囧”的流行就必须提到“Orz”，这种看似字母的组合实际上是一个象形符号，它早在2004年就已在国内的网络上形成一种新兴的网络图形文化。“Orz”的本来意义是“失意体前屈”，它代表一个人面向左方、俯跪在地，O代表这个人的头，r代表手和身体，z代表脚。当时，它经常出现在网络电子邮件、IRC聊天室以及即时通讯软件中，被网友们用作表现他们失意或沮丧的心情。后来，一些网民受到“Orz”的启发，用“囧”替换掉了“O”，使得“失意体前屈”的头部具有了更加写意的表情，写作“囧rz”。
