对，副词修饰另一个副词或形容词时都在前面，副词修饰动词时则比较复杂，可在前面或后面，但通常是在后面。是definitely，不是definately；这里的 definitely 修饰的是 is。

有可能我很快会成为滥用私刑的牺牲品，被禁言，所以我还是先揭晓答案：
He's acted unbelievably stupid in the past year.
该改为：
He's acted unbelievably stupidly in the past year.

stupidly 修饰的是 acted 这个动词，所以须用副词stupidly
stupid 是形容词，不能用来修饰动词 acted
而 unbelievably 是副词，修饰的是另一个副词 stupidly。

你的说法是正确的。不错！有水准，呵呵。
我把注意力放在副词的用法来出题，所以忽略了其他的意思。
如果 act 的定义是“假装”的话，可以作为一种联系动词（linking verb），就是说后面可跟形容词如：
act crazy 装疯；act stupid 装傻

因为游戏规则是我的句子可以是没有错误的，所以该题的正解应该如“发生什么事”在上一楼所说的。

*意思 = yisi =/= yishi

联系动词 Linking Verbs
联系动词可分两种：
(1) 知觉动词 verbs of sensation，如 look, smell, taste, feel, sound 等等
(2) 存在动词 verbs of existence，如 be, appear, become, seem, act 等等

联系动词之后可跟形容词，但该形容词修饰的不是该动词，而是主语（subject），例：
The soup tastes delicious.  delicious 是形容词，修饰主语 soup。
She acted stupid. stupid 是形容词，修饰主语 she。

补充，像上面那个例子，
有些动词之后跟形容词或副词，句子的意思也就不同，而该动词的定义也不一样。
再多看一个例子：
She looked angry. = 她看起来很生气。 这句子里的looked的定义是“看起来”，angry 修饰的是 she。
She looked angrily at her husband. = 她生气地看她丈夫。 这句子里的looked的定义是“看”，angrily 修饰的是 looked。

no = not one, not a 或 not any
用于强调或表达——>事实是该名词的相反：
I'm no racist. 我——不是——种族歧视主义者。（我是非种族歧视主义者。）
He's no fool. 他不是笨蛋。（他是很聪明的。）
You're no hero. 你不是英雄。（你只是一个普通人。）
I'm no expert. 我不是专家。（我懂得不是很多。）

第二句：there is/are no... = 没有...：
There is no accidence. 没有词形变化。
There is no water in the bottle. 瓶子里没有水。
There are no chocolates left. 没有巧克力糖剩了。

near to 错误。你可以说：near the station 或 close to the station.

正确答案：

The hotel which we stayed at was near the station.

用where 的时候，at要省略。


有没有注意到，我们用 where 的时候，通常省略介词如 at，in 等？
Where do you live? Which house do you live in?
Where does he work? Which restaurant does he work at?
Where are you going? Which shop are you going to?
