How to Participate
1.Interested participants are invited to participate in the model shootsessions at Mid Valley Megamall, Ground Floor Centre Court,16-18October 2009, in conjunction with the Nikon Show. Any changes tothemodel shooting sessions will be posted on the Nikon Show main page.
2. Send your selected photograph(s) via email to nikonmy.contest@nikonoa.net. Other forms of submission will not be accepted.
3. You may submit up to 3 photographs and must be in 1 email. Kindly state in the body of the email:
a. Your full name
b.
I/C number
c. Telephone number(s).
d. One alternative email address if any.
4. The photographs must be saved in JPG format, no more than 1MB file size per picture.
5. All entries must be received by Wednesday, 21 October 2009, 12.00pm.
6. This contest will be judged on creativity and relevance to Nikon’s brand image.
7. No purchase is needed to enter this contest.
Terms and Conditions
1.This Nikon Model Photography Contest is open to all Malaysians citizensexcept staff and relatives of Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, its dealersincluding their staff, business partners, associates, and/or suppliersdirectly involved in this event.
2.Eachcontestant is only allowed to send ONE entry and each entry mustnotexceed 3 pictures. In the email, the contestant must state his/herfullname, I/C number, and telephone number.
3. The photographs must be taken by a digital camera of any make or model.
4.Slightcontrast and sharpness adjustments and slight cropping will beallowed.No heavily post-processed photographs will be accepted.
5. The contestant must be the authorized user or owner of the email address used to participate in this contest.
6. By participating in this contest, the contestant admits complete ownership of the photograph(s) submitted.
7.Byparticipating in this contest, the contestant grants Nikon(Malaysia)Sdn Bhd the right to use the photograph(s) for its futurepublicity andpromotions without any form of compensation while therights to thephotograph(s) remains with the contestant and will begiven due creditwith each use.
8.Nikon(Malaysia) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to terminate the contestdue totechnical problems causing inability to process the photographssuch asbut not limited to, data loss or data corruption.
9. Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd will not be responsible for any missing entries, regardless of its reason.
10.By submitting the entry, the contestant agrees to release Nikon(Malaysia)Sdn Bhd, its directors, employees, and business affiliatesfrom any andall liabilities arising from the contestant’s participationin thecontest and/or any prize(s) that may be awarded.
11. The decisions of Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and its panel of judges are final and no disputes or queries will be entertained.
12.Prizes are not exchangeable. Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd reserves theright to exchange the prizes with other items of similar value shouldthe initial prize be unavailable.
13.Ifcalled upon as one of the prize winners, the contestant must submitthewinning image in its original form and with the EXIF data (photodata)intact to Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd before the prize is awarded to thecontestant.
14.Announcementof winners will be published online and will be informedvia telephoneand email address that was used to enter the contest.Nikon(Malaysia)Sdn Bhd will not be held responsible should any winner cannotbecontacted. If any winner cannot be reached via telephone, he/shewillhave to respond to the email within a month of notification inorder toarrange for prize collection. Should the winner cannot becontactedwithin a month, then Nikon (Malaysia)Sdn Bhd reserves theright to dismiss that winner and/or award it tothe next best entry. Theemail used to contact the winners may notnecessarily be the same emailthat was used for the photo submission.
15. By entering this contest, the contestant automatically acknowledges consent to this contest’s terms and conditions
