i thought that so-called winter only happens when it is in monsoon season?
and if you are living more inland...
maybe at chiangmai then you can feel the coldness, right?

Since the coldest is about 6 Celsius degree, there is no snow~ (Luckily...) - only cold freezing wind!!!

Winter is at the end of the year, about the same time as the rainy season in Malaysia. During that time, even in Bangkok, a very very very very hot city during summer, you could feel the coldness boring into your bones. However, in the South the climate is about the same as in Malaysia.

There are three seasons in Thailand - Summer, dry, and winter. However, one of my professor said, "In Southeast Asia, there is only three seaons - hot, hotter, hottest!" For him the winter in Thailand is not as cold as that in Finland, whose temperature may go down to negative 30 Celsius degree! I'm so glad I'm not a Finnish, or else I will really finish!
