Responsibilities:
~To ensure continuous certification in ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
~To achieve zero defects in products as per company guidelines before shipping and zero lost time injury for workers.
Example of tasks specific to quality (some may also be applicable to safety)
~To keep a list of quality feedbacks and reports (both internally and from customers).
~To investigate and solve root cause (both internally and from supplier) of feedbacks to prevent recurrence.
~To minimize gray areas of work responsibility of various departments from process point of view.
~To attend to customer’s audits.
~To conduct internal audits.
~To facilitate the revision of management system flowcharts and forms (all documents have to be the same with headquarter).
~To ensure tool calibration are done by respective departments and maintain tool calibration softcopy database.
~To update customer survey data as per headquarter requirement.
Example of tasks specific for safety
~To maintain HIRADC.
~To maintain legal register.
~To liaise with DOSH and fire department and meet their legal requirements.
~To maintain incident register according to NADOOPOD requirements.
~To maintain feedback register.
~To maintain chemical register and MSDS.
Immediate assignment:
~Find root cause of each defect and eliminate it. Then establish statistic.
~Find root cause of each safety feedback and eliminate it. Then establish statistic.
