Mourinho asked about Manchester United following Guardiola to City
With Pep Guardiola officially confirming he will manage Manchester City next season, football fans the world over immediately began salivating at the prospect of Jose Mourinho moving to Manchester United to do battle again.
As pressure mounts on Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, Mourinho's name is never far from being mentioned as the ready-made cure to United's problems.
Indeed, as he arrived at Wembley for an event organised by FIFA presidential candidate Gianni Infantino, the former Chelsea manager was asked if he fancied reigniting his rivalry with Guardiola by replacing Van Gaal before the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
To say the response was frosty is something of an understatement.
