Promoted to Pra Sangkara or meaning the king of monk in Thailand when Pra Sangkarat (Jow) passed away on 15th Nov BE.2481. Phra Krings consecrated by Sangkarat Pae is considered to be the most efficacious in Thailand.
Somdej Pra Sangkarat Wat Suttat was borned during the King Rama 4 Era. He was borned on 12th November BE2399. His father was named Nut and his mother; Oon. They were farmers at Bahng Lunpoo Lahng (old name for a place in Tonburee). When he was 13 years old, his father bought him to become a novice under Pra Somdej Wan Rat (Somboon) of Wat Raat Boorana. During his novice days, he also learn dhamma from Ah Jahn Poh at Wat Torng Noppakun.
In BE2422, when Pra Somdej Wan Rat (Somboon) passed away of illness, Somdej Pra Sangkarat (Pae) went to be ordained under Pra Somdej Wan Rat (Daeng). Later on, he also learned Dhamma from Pra Sangkarat (Sah) at Wat Raai Pradit.
- BE 2419, he went for Dhamma exam at King's Palace. However, he did not managed to pass.
- BE 2425, he passed the Dhamma exam and promoted to Preai 4 (Rank).
- BE 2428, he passed another Dhamma exam at Wat Pra Seeratanahsasahdahrahm (Wat Pra Keow) and promoted to Preai 5.
- BE 2432, he promoted to Pra Rahrahchah Kana at Pra See Sompoh
- BE 2441, he promoted to Senior Pra Rahrahchah Kana at Pra See Sompoh
- BE 2443, he promoted to Pra Tamagohsahjahn
- BE 2455, he promoted to Pra Prommunee by King Rama 6
- BE 2466, he promoted to Pra Somdej Praputtajahn
- BE 2472, he promoted to Pra Wanrat (most senior monk who takes care of monk's conduct) by King Rama 7
- BE 2479, was transferred to Bangkok by Somdej Pra Sangkarat (Jow) of Wat Rahborpit
- BE 2471 to BE 2474, he became Chief Invigilator of Dhama exam at Sanahm Luang
- 15 Nov BE 2481, he promoted to Pra Sangkarat of Thailand when Pra Sangkarat (Jow) passed away
His Honliness Pra Sangkarat (Pae) passed away on 26th Nov BE 2487 at Wat Suttat at age of 89, 66

Its said that one day Somdej pae master was sick and he happen heard about the healing/medicine Buddha from Mahayana Sect and when on learning more in depth about this buddha and the mantra of the medicine buddha. Its how Phra Kring amulet was created and was made following a mix of mahayana and theravada buddhism.
Somdej Pae then made a very small amount of the very first phra kring meant to hope to heal his sick master. Its known that its very efficacious not only in healing but in many expects. Until today Phra Kring amulet from Wat Suthat are very well known and efficacious also for its beauty of Phra kring amulet casted by Wat Suthat.
History of Wat Suthat Thep Wara Ram:
This temple is situated on Bamrung Muang Road, near the Giant Swing. King Rama I commissioned its construction in 1807 to enshrine the phra To, or Phra Sri Sakayamunee, image from Sukhothai.Construction was begun in the First Reign and completed in the Third Reign. The murals depict scenes from the Tribhumi Khatha and are the work of craftsmen of Second and Third Reigns. The caving on the front door is said to be the work of King Rama II. The door is very thick panel of wood deeply carved in an intricate design of creeping plants and animals. The cloth draped over the lap of the Phra Sri Sakayamunee image is the repository of the ashes of King Rama VIII.The Phra Ubosot was built in the Third Reign and is very large and long. There are murals depicting the story of Buddha and the Ramakien story of Ramayana. The presiding image is the Phra Buddha Trilokachet, which was cast on orders of King Rama III. Another interesting image is the Buddha Setthamunee, the presiding image in the sala karn prian, which King Rama III ordered to be cast in 1839 from the opium boxes that had been seized and were to be burnt. On the north wall there is a pavilion built for King Rama IV to watch the swing ceremony. The temple ground has a stone chedi in Chinese style and other artistic objects.
