2NE1 ‘I Don’t Care’ is 2009 best selling song on Monkey3
2NE1’s ‘I Don’t Care’ has been chosen as the top selling song of the year on Monkey 3.
Music specialty site Monkey3 (www.monkey3.co.kr) collated results from its charts for the period of 1st January till 20th December 2009 including streaming and download charts, and then came down with ‘This year’s best song’.
And the results show 2NE1’s ‘I Don’t Care’ at #1 and Big Bang-2NE1 collaboration ‘Lollipop’ at #2, So Nyeo Shi Dae ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ at #3, Brown Eyed Girls‘ ‘Abracadabra’ at #4, and GDragon’s ‘Heartbreaker’ at #5.
Monkey3 music source team leader Lee JungGyu said, “2009 has been a year of girlgroups. So Nyeo Shi Dae, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, f(x), KARA, T-ara etc have all shown their talents and song and dance capabilities, and they are strong up on charts. And of them, 2NE1’s songs received much popularity.”
Also, Monkey3 did a poll on 4 categories ‘This year’s best newcomer’, ‘This year’s best girlgroup’, ‘This year’s est boyground’ and ‘This year’s best MV’ from 18th November till 3rd December. A total of 2433 netizens participated in the polls.

2NE1 ‘I Don’t Care’ is 2009 Cyworld Best Hit song, also YG’s 3rd consecutive #1 on the annual chart
The newcomer group which took the Kpop world by storm last year, 2NE1’s first minialbum title song ‘I Don’t Care’ is announced as Cyworld 2009 Best Hit Song.
According to Cyworld 2009 Annual popular song chart, 2NE1 ‘I Don’t Care’ is #1. The song is composed and written by YG Entertainment producers Teddy and Stony Skunk, and has been revealed in various versions like electronic, house, unplugged and musical versions, one of the hot topics of Kpop world last year.
Other than 2NE1’s ‘I Don’t Care’, Big Bang-2NE1 collaboration ‘Lollipop’ is at #5 on the chart, while Park Bom’s solo song ‘You & I’ is #11, 2NE1’s first single ‘Fire’ is at #14, and ‘In The Club’ is at #36. CL and MinJi’s duet song ‘Please Don’t Go’ is at #65 while ‘Let’s Go Party is at #96 on the chart – with 7 songs from the group up on the top 100 rankings.

2NE1 to appear at Big Bang's Concert
New comer 4 member girl group, 2NE1, will be appearing at Big Bang's solo concert for three days as guests.
Big Bang's representatives revealed that the hidden attraction is no other than the girl group from the same company (YG Entertainment), 2NE1 who will be appearing for all three days as a guest.
Big Bang representatives stated "Sandara Park, Park Bom, CL, and Gong Minji received a lot of help from their sunbaes Big Bang since their debut and they are always thinking of them.", "Wanting to repay their thanks to them, they are planned to make special appearances for the three days of the concert".
Following this announcement, there has been much speculation on whether they will be performing their collaboration song together "Lollipop" at this concert.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 currently in the middle of preparing for their first full length album to be released in the beginning of this year.
