Rangers squad switching back to the scene of previous successes ...
QPR will be changing rooms at Loftus Road ahead of the start of the new Championship season in W12.
Harry Redknapp’s first team will enjoy brand new dressing rooms on matchdays for the 2013/14 campaign.
The R’s squad is making a return to the changing rooms that brought them so much success in the Championship two-years ago.
Following promotion to the Premier League former boss Neil Warnock opted to relocate his squad to what had previously been the away changing rooms at Loftus Road. There they remained under Mark Hughes and more latterly Redknapp.
However, following relegation at the end of last season QPR will switch back to the location where their previous successes were masterminded.
That sees the changing rooms currently undergoing a revamp in the close season to provide a first class facility for the R’s to prepare in next year.
The changing room is being made larger and more open plan in order for the manager to address his squad easier, whilst new physiotherapist facilities are being installed.
Queens Park Rangers kick-off the 2013/14 season against Sheffield Wednesday at Loftus Road on Saturday, 3rd August.

Johnson bagged the only goal of the game in the 64th minute at the Seeboden Stadium, as the R’s eased to a deserved win over their Turkish opponents.
The Hoops were good value for the 1-0 victory over the course of the ninety minutes, on a night when four EDS players – in the shape of Michael Harriman, Max Ehmer, Frankie Sutherland and Mo Shariff – all got crucial first team experience under the belt ahead of the new campaign.
QPR have completed the signing of Karl Henry from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Henry becomes Harry Redknapp’s third signing of the summer, after Rangers agreed an undisclosed fee with the League One club for the midfielder’s services.
