Description	DRB-HICOM BERHAD ("DRB-HICOM" or "the Company")- Notice of Additional Assessment by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia ("IRB") to HICOM Holdings Berhad ("HHB")
With reference to the announcement made on 2 September 2024, the Company wishes to inform that pursuant to appeals against the Notice of Additional Assessment (“Notice”) issued by the IRB to HHB and submission of additional supporting documents/information by HHB, the IRB upon due consideration, has allowed the appeal and decided that the gain from the disposal of a subsidiary is not subject to tax under Section 4(a) of the Income Tax Act 1967 for the year of assessment 2020. Accordingly, the tax amounting to RM246,245,935.49 is fully discharged through a notification received from IRB on 20 March 2025. This announcement is dated 21 March 2025.

Pursuant to Paragraph 10.06 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhas ("Bursa MMLR"), DRB-HICOM wishes to announce that HICOM Holdings Berhad ("HHB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRB-HICOM, had on 31 July 2025 entered into the share sale agreement with Arah Kiara Sdn Bhd, to acquire the remaining 30% equity interest in SEMSB not held by HHB, comprising 10,491,000 ordinary shares ("Sale Shares"), for a cash consideration of RM20,000,000 ("Acquisition").The Acquisition was also completed on even date and as a result, SEMSB is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of HHB.
