成兄，你好。
不用客气，尽量问，也可PM我。
先说明我本身没学过financial engineering,也不在投资业工作。
最好问问在投资业工作的朋友。
你想进的是这个MSc of financial engineering 吗？

你本科是什么？有工作经验吗？
可参考网站，有alumni；看看课程是否是你感兴趣的。
1。我几位同学读的该是NUS的MSc. financial engineering，蛮多年了，也不知program是否还一样或还存在吗？
我这几位同学都是EE的master,工作多年后才去读，好像是读part time.
竞争不知道，但他们都是很强的(学历，工作经验等)。
2。GRE分数我不知道，而且主要看那一届的申请者。尽量考好吧。
3。他们都没后悔转行，半导体业太苦了。
当年他们读了进投资业，也是重新开始，会有pay cut,工作不好找，但之后渐入佳境。觉得这些学位只是敲门砖，之后看表现。
有进了financial IT的，有辗转进入fund management的。
个人意见：
1。投资业turnover蛮高的。
2。现在要看看有没有过剩。
近来的危机，投资业(尤其是面对客户的)的员工会被怪罪。。

4。留意自己经济状况，学费蛮贵，需时间找到工作。 |

現在有點迷惘，又怕投資業前景不好，另一方面又擔心成績不夠好，不被祿取。想太多了，現在眼前應把application好好弄好，等被叫去面試才來擔心還不遲！
