The visions so vividly replayed in my mind… It was the year 2038 when the serenity of our world was shaken.
Hellrifts tore through the skies like lightning maelstroms, demons with monstrous sizes and power annihilated London. Many brave souls fell in futile attempts to stop them. Last thing I recalled was me rushing towards a grotesque creature before I blacked out…
I woke up feeling totally drained of life. I squinted and tried to adjust my eyes to the bright environment I was in.
“Is this the afterworld?” I thought to myself.
“Don’t worry kid, you’re still alive. What were you thinking? Trying to kill a blood seraph with a cricket bat?! You’re lucky that demon didn’t rip you to pieces”, a voice echoed across the room. I attempted to recollect my last thoughts…
Like a memory replay, I saw raging flames and debris around. Jax and I were separated from our parents when demons attacked our home, causing the building to collapse. Jax grabbed my hand and started running as he sensed the approaching danger.
With a calm voice, he assured me, “Dad and Mum are trained Templars, they’ll find us. We have to find somewhere safe to hide first.”
I didn’t know what he was saying at that point of time, but I had to trust Jax. He was my brother after all.
We arrived at Russell Square after running through several streets and buildings. There was fire and dead bodies all around, I gripped Jax’s hand tightly as we walked further. I was petrified, least to say.
“I’m here, Kai. I won’t leave you”, Jax spoke in a consoling tone.
“Grhhahhhhh!” a loud shriek pierced the skies.
I jumped in fright and Jax repositioned himself to shield me from any danger. I saw a grotesque unknown creature swooping above us. It had huge leathery wings and whatever it was, it didn’t seem friendly.
Jax released my grip and picked up a cricket bat that was lying on the ground.
“Stay back Kai”, my brother murmured solemnly. I cowered behind a beat-up police car and prayed.
The monster dived for my brother but with lightning quick reflexes, he ducked and swung the bat against the monster’s torso. The creature shrieked shrilly in pain and collapsed on the rocky ground. Seeing this opportunity, my brother yanked me away from my hiding place and we started running as fast as we could.
Recovering from the attack, the creature arose and with an ear-piercing war cry, it swooped towards us at high speed.
I screamed in fear at the knowledge of incoming peril. The creature swung his claws at my brother and Jax’s weapon was flung to the ground.
“Jax!”, I yelled as I saw my unconscious brother lying on the ground. The creature hissed and turned towards me. I lunged for the cricket bat that my brother was using and charged towards the foul demon.
All turned into darkness then…
“I’m sorry about the other guy. There were too many of them around and I could only save you.” the unknown voice spoke, snapping me off from my recollections.
The approaching figure stepped into the light and spoke, “A week has past since your coma. Now is not the time to wallow in grief.”
I rubbed my eyes and tried to identify the man standing in front of me. The stranger was of average build but he exuded an aura of authority. He was suited in a massive high-tech armor that reminded me of what Robocop used to look like.
“Tell me son, do you want to find Jax?” he continued. “The creature which attacked you two is a gargoyle. A foul monster summoned from the depths of demonic grounds through a timeshift portal known as a Hellrift.”
I stared at the stranger with a baffled look.
“Okay, let’s just say monsters are invading London, and they pop out from these little holes called a Hellrift,” he sighed.
I nodded, too stunned to say a word.
“I’m a Hunter, a trained specialist working for the organization known as the Alliance.” He picked up a large rifle and beckoned me over. “The Alliance has been struggling to stop the invasion for the past 18 years”.
I watched in awe as he pressed a series of buttons on his belt. A hologram blueprint suddenly flashed in front of us and took the form of a cylindrical shape. It slowly materialized into a hovering automaton.
“Woah!” I exclaimed.
“That’s an Inhibitor Bot, one of the covert projects of the Hunters. I’ll teach you a few basics so you can hold your ground against the foul beasts.”
“Yes, sir”, I nodded.
“I’m Sam, what’s your call sign kid?” the stranger interrupted.
“K-Kai… Kai Trece”, I stammered.
“Trece? Hah! That is interesting”, Sam remarked as he ransacked his backpack.
He took out a weird looking watch and handed it to me.
“Hit the green button on the left”, Sam instructed.
I did as I was told. My vision was temporarily blinded as a blue ray of light appeared and scanned my whole body.
“Don’t panic. It’s fine.” Sam said, sensing my fear.
“The examination of target is complete. Please identify yourself.” the watch spoke.
“K-Kai… Trece”, I stammered.
“Good day Mister Kai and welcome to the Alliance. I’m Techsmith 408, how can I help you today?” the watch continued.
“Come on, I’ll teach you the basics of constructing mechanical helpers to protect you.” Sam spent the next half hour explaining to me the functions of the high-tech gadget. Through his teachings, I realized the weaponry was refined to affect specific demons. I also learnt that combining different supplies allowed the creation of tech components and scrap materials which could be used to construct a variety of micro machines known as bots.
“Okay kid, I guess this should be it. Let me see what you’ve got.” Sam commanded.
“I can do this. I want to save Jax. I want to find Dad and Mum.” I thought to myself as I keyed a set of combination keys into the little gadget on my wrist.
“Input successful. Transferring blueprint into time shift location.” the watch spoke.
Both Sam and I waited in anticipation as we gazed at the holographic drawing. A robot-like machine suddenly materialized complete with turrets and shield generators.
“Just as expected of a Trece. Well done Kai. Your parents will be proud of you,” Sam said in a satisfied manner.
I was confused by his words, but I was more fascinated by the little robot I had just managed to construct.
“It’s a drone, a highly advanced piece of machinery that can be outfitted with additional equipments. Trust me; this will be your best friend in time to come.” Sam continued. I stared at the drone with amazement and pride.
“We should be able to find more information about your brother in Holborn Station. However, like I told you before, the surface will be infested by demons. Stick close to me at all times.” Sam commanded. I nodded nervously.
Sam lifted his rifle and aimed. A massive force erupted from his weapon and blasted a hole in the wall. Cold and eerie air rushed in as we walked out into the surface…

很快就可以读到HGL第二本小说Hellgate: London: Goetia。
在出版社的网站看到会在二月二十六日面市。

请问~这样的配件玩会出现怎样的情况？
Pentium{R} 4CPU 2.40GHz
1.81 Ghz,1.00 GB of RAM
还是可以正常的玩？ |

显卡是什么？ 有ati 9550 的等级就可以玩了，不过setting 只能全部low |
