Dinobots 初期是比较低能和没有好坏的分办能力，所以比较容易被离间，加上首领“钢锁”又好胜，过后才明白他需要真正的领袖才平息；Dinobots 虽然还是有一点苯苯的感觉，但是可以说是博派的强力战力组合。

dinobot 是當年 autobots 的科學研究員 Wheeljack 參考了恐龍化石后，研製出來的恐龍變形人。是當時Decepticons 上至 megatron 下至starscream 看到都搖頭怕怕的 autobots。

當時他們並沒有智慧，只能接受Wheeljack 的簡單指令做一些行動。開始時由於搞到亂七八糟，把它們的基地幾乎毀掉，肚濫的 optimus prime 下令把它們全部關閉起來。

在同一集裏`，optimus prime 等人幾乎被 Decepticons 一網打盡，wheeljack 在沒有辦法之下開啓 dinabots，威力驚人，把 megatron 同仁打到媽媽都不認得。optimus prime 有見及此，就同意讓 wheeljack 繼續研究開發 dinabots。

後來的dinabots 有了輕微的智慧，但只相同于4，5嵗的小孩，所以只能執行一些簡單的任務，比如監督，直接對壘，保護等工作。

在一次的任務裏，megatron 假裝好人，騙 dinabots 加入他們，攻擊 autobots， 但由於他們生性善良，很快就醒悟並馬上又回到autobots 的懷抱，反攻 Decepticons，幾乎結束 megatron 的命。

dinabots 一直是Decepticons 的克星，一直等到constructicons 的出現，才扳回一局。 contructicons 跟 dinabots 多次對壘，算是死對頭了。

dinabots 是transformer 裏很受歡迎的角色，後來甚至出現多種動物形態的變形人，但味道全失。

很喜欢 Dinobots 对战 Devastator 的时候.

但现在影片里 Devastator 变成那个坦克了. 如果真的有续局, 然后又有 Constructicons 的话, 他们要用什么名字 ?

dinabots 一直是Decepticons 的克星，一直等到constructicons 的出現，才扳回一局。 contructicons 跟 dinabots 多次對壘，算是死對頭了。
