相信5毛小粉红当年没有机会读中学，连最基本的blood 和 plasma都傻傻分不清。
plasma本身取出来，而红血球，白血球和血小板输回捐献者的身体。因此捐plasma，是不会导致贫血的。
plasma可以用来制药，消灭病毒等等。
因此，一边救人，一边赚钱，自己健康又没有亏损，何乐而不为？
5毛小粉红傻傻分不清blood 和 plasma， 是不是没有机会上大学，读不到biology？@dalap

根据收集到的血浆数量倒推，美国一年大概有2000万人次捐献或出售过血浆。
这也就难怪，美国能以占全球4%的人口，供应着全球70%的血浆需求和94%的付费血浆，成为全球最大的血浆出口国。血浆制品在美国早已挤进了出口产业排行榜前十，一年能带来400亿美元的收入。

傻B中华胶没读biology只会秀下帐, 一般百性当然是讲 "donate blood"捐血, 但真正在美国捐血中心捐出的是血浆(Plasma), 那個图都显示 CSL PLASMA了, 笑死人啦 !

Plasma contains antibodies called immunoglobulins. These can be made into medicines to treat people whose immune systems aren’t working as they should be. This can be caused by rare genetic conditions, called Primary Immune Disorders.
Immunoglobulin medicines can also treat heart conditions, blood disorders, nervous system disorders and infectious diseases.
It takes about 21 plasma donations to help save the life of a baby with Kawasaki disease, by protecting their heart from complications.
It takes 50 plasma donations to save the life of someone with a blood disorder called autoimmune haemolytic anaemia, where their immune system is attacking their blood.
It takes 56 plasma donations to help save the life of someone with an acute nervous system disorder called Guillain Barre Syndrome.
It takes 124 plasma donations to help save someone's life if they have a bacterial infection called toxic shock syndrome.
It can take 130 plasma donations every year to save someone's life if they have a Primary Immune Disorder

How is my plasma used?
When you give your plasma, it is combined with plasma donated by thousands of other people. The proteins in plasma are extracted and become therapies and medications to treat these conditions. It takes many people giving plasma to extend the life of a single person with a rare condition.
Did you know?
130 plasma donations will treat 1 person with primary immunodeficiency for 1 year.
465 plasma donations will treat someone with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy treatment for 1 year.
900 donations will treat 1 person with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency for 1 year.
1,200 plasma donations will treat someone with hemophilia for 1 year.
Some of the therapies created using plasma restore healthy proteins and treat people with bleeding, clotting, lung, autoimmune, genetic, and other conditions, such as:
Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency
Von Willebrand disease
Antithrombin III deficiency
Kawasaki disease
Hereditary angioedema
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

Source plasma is also used for:
Tetanus treatment. People who have received a tetanus vaccine carry antibodies in their plasma that can help others. These antibodies, found in plasma, can be given to infected patients as a lifesaving treatment. In some cases, it is the only treatment option for this debilitating infection.
Rabies treatment. Antibody infusions are one of the treatments available for people with rabies infection. When people who are immunized against rabies give plasma, their antibodies can be used to develop immunotherapies for rabies and many other kinds of infections.
Pregnant people. Pregnant people with a particular condition called Rh sensitization need plasma protein therapies to protect their baby. The antibodies in these therapies can prevent severe pregnancy consequences associated with the condition, including fetal brain damage and death
人家美国人，捐出来的plasma制成各种药物，救全世界，包括5毛小粉红以及其家人等病患，而且捐献者自己基本上没有健康影响，还有一大笔钱赚。
而5毛小粉红以及其家人等病患还给了一医药费给美国制药公司，而这些美国制药公司交了税收给美国政府和购买更多血浆。
也就是说，你@dalap 一边骂美国，一边交一大笔昂贵的医药费给制药公司，然后制药公司把这些医药费作为向plasma捐献者购买血浆的费用。
也就是说这些plasma donor拿到的钱，就是从你的口袋里挖出来的呢！哈哈哈哈哈！

再说回前文提到的记者Kathleen，调查时她还发现，不仅低收入人群，生活成本突然上涨时，中产阶级也会开始卖血，罢工期间教师为维持收支卖血更是常见的事，毕竟来钱快。
而整个社会都在鼓励这一行为，到处张贴广告夸赞卖血“时薪”高、比兼职更容易，为了让人多卖几次，还推出了阶梯式酬劳，连续卖血次数越多，给的钱也就越多。
这些血浆中心也很会挑选地点，大多设在低收入人群聚集地，例如有色人种社区、美墨边境沿线以及其他白人较少的地区，还有一个就是大学城。 |

Over 90% of blood plasma is water, while less than 10% consists of dissolved substances, mostly proteins.
基本上，plasma的成分就是90%的水，加上一点蛋白。
不就是有如你撒了一泡尿而已。
为何这泡尿，制药公司给数十元到一百美金？是作为花费你2小时的时间捐献，加上你来回的交通费而已。
用比喻来形容，就似乎有如一个人，撒了一泡尿，然后赚了一百美金，而这一百美金，到最后还是从你们5毛小粉红病患从自己的口袋交出来交给制药公司用来收购这泡尿的。
所以，你们5毛小粉红@dalap ，一边从自己的口袋交付大量昂贵的医药费给这些捐献者撒了几泡尿给你们，一边取笑这些plasma donor，到底是什么逻辑，我都不明白哪！
