Description	ATA IMS BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS DENKO INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION BERHAD (THE COMPANY OR ATA IMS)- Fire Incident
We wish to inform that a fire had occurred at one of the Group’s rented factories in Taman Gembira, Tampoi, Johor Bahru, on 8 February 2019. The premise is occupied by ATA Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd. The Fire and Rescue Department arrived promptly and brought the fire under control shortly thereafter. The fire affected only a small part of a storage room in the secondary process area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire and Rescue Department. The Company shall restore back the operations at the affected area as soon as possible. A police report has been filed, and the Company and adjusters are currently assessing the value of the damages sustained by the fire. All assets and inventory are adequately insured. The Company does not anticipate any major impact to its operations as the fire only happened in one small section of the factory and the Company has similar secondary processes in other operating factories. An additional announcement will be made once the exact value of the actual losses has been determined. This announcement is dated 11 February 2019.

INFORMATION ON ATA COMPONENTS ATA Components was incorporated as a private company limited by shares in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 2016. The entire issued share capital of ATA Components of RM1.00, comprising 1 ordinary share, is held by ATA IMS.   The principal activities of ATA Components are manufacture of all kinds of components relevant to electronic or electrical products, mechanical or consumer products and any kind of industrial components, eg. wire harness and brush bar assembly. The purpose of the incorporation is for business expansion. 3. FINANCIAL EFFECTS The incorporation of ATA Components is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the ATA IMS Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2019. 4.
