Today we celebrate the life of this loyal fax machine. The fax machine that gave up its life to save us from the ignominy of a life without David De Gea. In its short but celebrated life with us, it achieved what no other fax machine had ever done, shitting on a bullying Real Madrid and in doing so, achieving celebrity cult status amongst United fans. Today, as we solemnly reflect and look back on the one year since it broke down to redeem us, may be forever be thankful and never forget to count out blessings. RIP the greatest and most beautiful Fax Machine that ever existed. You will forever live on in our hearts. Maybe someday, on a warm summer afternoon, I will proudly narrate, to my kids, the legend of how a simple fax machine lit up a million lives simultaneously and how it was a privilege to have been alive to witness the legend. Gone but never forgotten.
