On the 14th, girl group T-ara performed at the 2010 K-League soccer match between Jeonbook Motors and FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, only to be booed by fans of the latter team.
The game was held in Seoul, with nearly 80% of those present in the crowd being FC Seoul fans. Needless to say, the majority of the audience was displeased when the sexy six appeared to perform in green and black outfits, the same colors as the opposing team.
In T-ara’s defense, the girls had immediately rushed to the stadium after performing at SBS Inkigayo, leaving no time in their busy schedule to change clothes. However, FC Seoul fans retorted that they were informed of their schedule to perform at the game beforehand and should have been appropriately dressed for the occasion.
Regarding the controversial issue, a representative of C0re Contents Media released the following statement on the 15th, “We are very sorry towards FC Seoul fans. We will pay better attention to details so that no issues like this occur again in the future.”
Once again, the matter is not T-ara’s fault, but merely poor management by their company and stylists. Hopefully this doesn’t tarnish the girls’ reputation and potential success as they have just released their I’m Really Hurt MVs
T-ara’s leader, Eunjung has expressed her gratitude to her mum who was her manager when she was in middle school and also a child/teen actress.
“I’m really sorry, but thank you.”
Eunjung’s mum had to end her music career because of her daughter and that’s why Eunjung feels very sorry.
“My mum graduated from Ewha Womans University with a music degree. When I was a child actress, she became my manager and had to give up being a piano teacher. I was unaware back then but I am very sorry now.”
“My mum called up many PDs back then, asking to give me a chance.”
At this point, Eunjung teared but she continued,
“My mum was very happy after she graduated and started teaching students how to play the piano. But she didn’t teach anymore after she became my manager because there were too many things to handle. My mum would say sometimes that her heart flutters a little whenever she sees a piano. I felt ultra apologetic when I hear her say this. Because of me, she sacrificed her career.”
Eunjung who is the only daughter, expressed
“My mum only had me 10 years after she was married so it made me even sadder. But she is happy to see me acting because her ambition was to become one.”
T-ara and Supernova release their third collaborative single in Japanese
Girl group T-ara and boy band Supernova released their third collaborative single allegedly titled Time to Love 3, or JP, in Japanese. Aside from the fact that the track is sung completely in a foreign language, Time to Love 3 sounds different from the two preceding versions. However, it still retains an electric sound that will easily hook you into listening to it again and again.
The two idol groups recently scored a 1 million dollar endorsement deal with Japanese food chain GUSTO. They personally flew to Japan order to film the CF and the results look well worth it. The GUSTO CF provided a sneak peak of the song, but now the whole package can be heard below.
