Bhd. | The Board of Directors of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX” or the “Company”) wishes to announce that DNeX had on 30 June 2025 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Sinohydro Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinohydro Corporation Ltd., which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China, Ltd., with the intent to collaborate on the following areas: to jointly identify, evaluate, and develop viable renewable energy projects across Malaysia, including but not limited to initiatives in solar, geothermal, hydroelectric, and other clean energy technologies; to cooperate in facilitating the transfer of advanced technologies and best practices in the fields of solar, geothermal, hydro power, and small modular reactor (SMR) technologies; to explore opportunities in rare earth mining and related industries that support clean rare earth extraction and production technologies; to jointly pursue the development of enhancements and innovations arising from the transfer of technology in renewable energy; and to upskill and develop local talent within the renewable energy sector as well as rare earth mining, extraction and production with the condition of no exporting and transferring the rare earth extraction, processing and utilization technology.
