My professor used to say, "Chinese and English are a very very good combination!"
If you knew both languages, the world is yours! |

Most of us here know and are fluent in both languages, why is it that the world belongs to George Bush then? |

George Bush? The world is directing its attention to China.
I don't understand why the Americans still voted him as their president. My ecology professor told me that he couldn't understand that too. That's why he is leaving the States and travelling around the world. My physics lecturer said he couldn't stay to stand in the U.S anymore, and he ended up in Thailand.
The world doesn't belong to George Bush anymoe. What else he like to do? War War War, never ending war... I don't really trust democracy anymore. At least, it doesn't seem to work in Asia and the Middle East. |

If I had a say in the election I wouldn't be voting him as the president too. What I don't understand is that despite all the protests and complaints about George Bush, the people in the US of A continue to vote for him anyway in the next election. *shrug* Maybe I just don't understand politics altogether. Oh well. *goes back to Barbies & Britney Spears* |

well, the definition of "banana" literally means a kind of tropical fruit, right?
i still not sure of how does this term being referred to those chinese who are unable to speak chinese a ...
as you can see, the flesh of banana is white but the skin is yellow. the yellow skin indicates chinese due to our so-called yellow-coloured skin, but once you peeled off the skin, the white flesh is indicating someone who can only communicate in english, the white's language, cause in chinese we call those foreigners who speak english White. so people use banana to describe those who speak merely english but chinese though they're chinese. |

Banana is not a suitable for those Malay educated Chinese, because they don't speak good English. We should create a new name for them!
Let's think about it! |
