唉！！为什么那么轻易就放弃呢？林丹不是在全英赛决赛带伤上阵吗？说不定这是哈少打败林丹的最好时机呢？

林丹就算是负伤上阵两局加起来都只是小输陈金4分而已。 哈少的实力如果能够媲美陈金就还机会赢咯。

Injured Hafiz pulls out of Swiss Open

PETALING JAYA: An injured Mohd Hafiz Hashim has withdrawn from the Swiss Open.
  
The 26-year-old Hafiz, who was to face top seed Lin Dan of China in the first round today, had been advised against competing due to pain on his Achilles tendon.  

The world No. 24, whose hope to feature in his first Olympic Games in Beijing is as good as over, will return home today.   

Canadian's Andrew Dabeka has been promoted from the qualifying tournament to replace Hafiz in the main draw.   

Meanwhile, top national back-up shuttler Tan Chun Seang and the world junior mixed doubles champions Lim Khim Wah-Ng Hui Lin had mixed fortunes in the first round of the qualifying tournament yesterday.   

Chun Seang suffered a shock 15-21, 13-21 defeat by Petr Koukal of the Czech Republic.   
Khim Wah-Hui Lin, however, reached the second round of the qualifiers with a 23-21, 20-22, 21-18 victory over Rohanda Agung-Cynthia Tuwankotta of Switzerland.   

They will play Taiwan’s Tsai Chia-hsin-Cheng Shao-chieh for a place in the tournament proper.

Shuttler Hafiz opts for KLRC

PETALING JAYA: Following the recent disappointments in Europe, shuttler Mohd Hafiz Hashim will get straight down to work to clear the way to join professional club KLRC Bhd.

Hafiz, who also had an option to join the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) after announcing his intention to leave his club Nusa Mahsuri, has decided to revive his career with KLRC.

Hafiz, who won the All-England title in 2003, was eliminated by Bao Chunlai of China in the first round of the prestigious championships in Birmingham two week ago. He was forced to withdraw from the next tournament, the Swiss Open in Basel, because of Achilles tendon pain.

A frustrated Hafiz said yesterday he would not want to delay a move to KLRC anymore.

“I was to meet Yonex (his sponsor) but they have not made it possible for me to meet them. No one has really taken interest in solving my plight over the last two weeks. I am now on my own,” he said.

“I just want to get over this (transfer). For now, I am still sticking with my decision to join KLRC.”

Hafiz has been going for a rehabilitation programme at the National Sports Institute (NSI) since his return from Basel last week.

“I could not focus on the tasks when I was in Europe. I do not have a chance to make it to the Olympics (in Beijing) anymore. I need to sort out my future immediately,” he said.

Hafiz, however, will have a final discussion with national coach Misbun Sidek before making his move.  

“Misbun has been supportive about this (my move) since I first told him about it during the Hong Kong Open (last December). I need to finalise certain matters with Misbun. Then, I will leave.” he said.

嗯，可是之前BAM放出风声表示有意把哈少重新招入麾下，让大家冒了不少汗。 现在听到他确定加盟KLRC，仿佛松了一口气。

KLRC：我们可是很有眼光和taste的，虽然招揽的都是过气球员，但都还有一定的实力，太过废的球员送给我们也不会要。

突然间很想知道哈少爷如果真的加入了KLRC，到时候薪水多了 而不用再高喊：“钱不够用”。。那他的球技到底会是如何呢？

参加10站比赛只要1，2站进入8强，奖金其实都不错了。
