Fernando Torres says he intends to stay at Liverpool, dismissing recent reports suggesting his Anfield departure.

The 26-year-old striker says on his personal website: 'my place is here at Liverpool, and in England' after Spanish reports hinted he could leave unless Liverpool made important signings this summer.

Fernando Torres claims Liverpool have hit form at the right time following the 3-0 win over Sunderland as they chase a Champions League spot.

Fernando Torres claims Liverpool are now a different side from the one seen earlier in the season - and he believes fourth spot is still well within reach after an impressive 3-0 win over Sunderland.

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres accepts that his form will be one of the deciding factors as to whether the Reds finish in the top four.
