LXEB 2170: Moot
Immediate steps to be taken by
the students during the First
Semester holidays:
1. Finalise the facts of your
problem.
What was given was not
sufficient to moot on.
You (the opposing sides) need
to agree on and finalise the
facts.
2. Finalise the issues in dispute.
Again you need to agree on
and finalise the issues to be
raised
and argued in the moot.
3. Send a copy of the finalised
document to Dr. Gan.
This is ISO requirement. It
must be done as soon as possible!
4. You need to do the necessary
research during the First
Semester holidays. Please read up
at least the relevant Indian, S
African, European Union and Malaysian
laws and case law thereon. You
need to carry out quite
extensive research as nearly all
the issues to be contested are
new to us and there is a real
need to look beyond the Malaysian
public law jurisprudence. You
won’t have the time if you were
to start working only when the
Second Semester begins. Please
start now.
Please circulate this piece of
advice to your classmates and
class representative.

法律系的帮下我吧！
我有个CASE缠身，交通法令第42条！04年提控！到现在过堂八次，每次都postpone！
律师要求法官buang case ，法官讲对方证人没有来（也就警察）呈词，所以不可以buang！
是真的吗？？如果对方十年不来，那我不是十年都不用正式过堂打官司？？ |

不是，我只是想知道，如果十年对方都不来，那我的case不是越拖越久吗？？
真浪费我们时间！律师和我讲也是如此，我只是确实下，效率方面的怠慢好像对我们不公平！
真的没有一条规定？？几次对方没有出席就buang case吗？？

如果我的律师给到我答案，我就不用在这里发问了！！
律师都是要赚我们的钱的，他讲的话信不过，他去一趟过堂车费就两百，去了八次RM1600，
律师费已经给了RM5000 ， 什么才好！
我在这里发问，是抱着可能lecturer有像你们提起这类似问题，就那么简单！

singapore law society其实地位就等于malaysian bar council...难道singapore law society的地位比malaysian bar council低? 针对dean的问题...我是承认处事方式，每个人是不同的...若没改善学术环境，谁来当上dean都是一样...坦白的说，我希望马大法学院能和共和联邦国家的知名大学的法学院合作，共同进行学术研究，提升马大法学院的竞争能力...我希望现任的dean能完成前任dean的未竟之志... |
